Difficulty:
The campaign should feel harder a long the way. Easier in the beggining and harder at the final boss (which I assume is Appollyon at this point but it shouldnt be, ill explain). And even more by choosing the difficulty at the start of the campaign so it you would have 1 to 5 difficulty and it would be with the same "easy at the beggining and hard at the end" logic.
As for the Drama:
To really make the campaign interestingthere should be a good deep story like main charcaters and not just random people with good looks chopping each other. Things like characters with personality, underdogs, high lords. A character that if he/she was to die we would go like "NO!". This would be a great thing for the campaign, a story to be involved with, to share different opinions at the end of it with "i agree" "i dont" "it should have gone slightly different", you know?
For it to be interesting(this is a for instance) Apollyon shold be ruled by someone higher hierarchically than her but we would only find out when that person would kill her at the end for us to fight him/her, we would be like "WHAT?!", you know? And sujective/subliminar messages throughout the campaignw ould be essential for this to work so when that happen we could be "WHAT?!" and then realise like "Oooooh, this happen, and this, and that".
I would love to have this in the campaign to make really a complete art of a game.
Devs? Players? Opinions...
P.S.: A cool feature would be a blacksmith for new weapons to...a thing for another thread.

There should be a type of "legendary"/"realistic" difficulty where there are no health re-gens during a mission , it takes significantly less damage to die ( while the heroes are wearing armor , getting hacked and slashed 20 to 30 times just isn't going to happen), and there are more aggressive AI. Also it would be nice if boss battles are challenging and not just lengthy, having to switch up your tactics and understand the the boss's timing and openings etc. Basically I want the same satisfaction of beating Halo on Legendary or The Witcher on Death March.I want to come out bragging and feeling like a total bad@ss.
Oh wow, fast response(or even just response). And since you said "suggestions" I think you seen at least 2 threads of mine and thought they were nice. Thank you and no problem, I just want to help as much as I can so you guys can add something, that missed your mind, to put into the game.Originally Posted by UbiBooma Go to original post![]()
Halo is not that hard, but yes, I totally aggree with you in the rest. The "Realistic" mode should be so great with no hp regen, "realistic" damage from you AND yuor enemies on you. This would really make you be careful when fighting, only make a move when you think its right and it would also help you for the multiplayer matches and hopefully Esports(fingers crossed!).
But off course we can't forget about the easier difficulties, they are AS MUCH AS important to kids/parents/both/newbies or even just to have fun.
Difficulties' names for me should be:
Tale/Story Telling(Easy): you want to be inside the story of For Honor to enjoy it and not be bothered by your enemies.
Casual(Medium): You want a smooth experience with your steel while slashing through the story of the game.
Anvil(Hard): You want to feel pressure on the battlefield.
War Cry(Very Hard): You want to be challenged by your enemies every step of the way.
For Honor("Realistic"): Well, you have a death wish. Every hit is authentic and will have a true impact on you and your enemy. No HP-regen and (at least) less checkpoints than the other difficulties. Only gain HP when "reaching a camp"(or something, I don't know[logically] what we will be doing the game)
The harder, the better .... or let's say, the more challenging, the better. Witcher3 is a good example, i play it on DeathMarch and one boss fight took me about 20 restarts, i had to find the a good strategy (and some luck).
Will there be any random-events, like a deserter running away from the batttlefield or a warrior begging for his life on an execution ("Please, i have wife and kids, spare me...." .... "Hey, don't cry, i'll sure take care of your wife ...." ... "Head off" ... haha )
