Kind of the nature of a loot based game. The developers dangle a carrot in front of you, and in order to get it you need all this gear. You have gathered that gear, and are now comfortably nibbling at the carrot. Now the developer is implementing a longer stick so you must gather new gear to reach the carrot again. It's just the way these kind of games are. Don't get too attached to the gear... it will change.
Because it was the straw that broke the camels back. It is tell of how they can/will change whatever they wish to on a whim. I've seen this before in other games. Neglecting more requested issues and coming out of left field with something that no one has complained about. Do they even listen to customer complaints/requests/ideas? Not likely. They've met their sales goal. They're content.Originally Posted by Crazy-46 Go to original post
Not at all. This post is more or less closure and I needed Ubisoft to know how I felt about the quality of game they've created. I'm not Jim jones. You don't need to follow me into the jungle and drink my grape juice. I would have been equally as happy with no reply.Originally Posted by crispy3242 Go to original post![]()

the thing is ubisoft probably didnt care much anyway, this is only 1 from dozen of their games, they make the game, patch/expansion/dlc yadayada all done they scratch it from their "what to do" list and moving to the next game. This post is more or less closure and I needed Ubisoft to know how I felt about the quality of game they've created.
next game which "you" will probably buy and if bad, this thing will happen again in the future. and the cycles continues lol
I agree with you, though my season pass will be a waste. That's my stupidity for buying it sight unseen and I will bite the bullet.Originally Posted by BBC-Abaddon Go to original post
Come on, this forum is the only place to leave feedback! maybe the post should not be in general discussion but this post is valid, the poster is simply doing what the forum is designed for, feedback! the OP is letting Massive know he is leaving and why, if the game had a separate way to leave this like most MMO's it would be different.
Should everyone simply walk away from a game such as this without giving any feedback? or should Ubi/Massive add a better way of getting feedback so people do not post these threads?
So another is making a song and dance about leaving the game after the last straw of problems etc.
How should we play this...
Ohhhhh... I'm so sorry you are going to leave the game - please don't go.
Or... bye.
Or, let's do it this way... I can relate to your frustrations of the glitches and problems with the game. These are being fixed and there is a slew of fixes coming in update 1.3. There is also the Stash increase that is coming to 1.3 and a few other items that we've been waiting for.
The topic of 345 hrs (a toddler in the game) thinking that this is a huge amount. No, it's not.
Then of course there is the weapon balancing, which evolves in every game such as this. This is the first step. I would have respect in what you are saying if you were to drop the mic AFTER the Expansion gets released and see how the weapon balance plays out, but I'm sorry my respect for your decision is little seeing you are leaving before the actual update can be tested out fully by your character.
So I toggle to the 'wave' emoticon and hope you find a game that is perfect in every respect, and to your expectations. However you may want to learn a little of game programming complexities and consider how complex and intricate this game is when there are so many talents, abilities, skills and mods on gear and weaponry and how each of these cannot simply be toggled on and off without regard for other portions of the game. This is why it can take a considerable amount of time and energy to solve (what may seem) minor glitches and considering there were already at least the first two updates and the first expansion close to complete even before the actual release of the actual game. There would have been a ton of work for Massive to re-engineer major portions of the game to solve some of the problems.
Anyway good luck - and I sincerely hope you do find a good thing out there. I'm happy here in The Division for quite a while yet I'd say - in fact I'm having a blast (with some frustration in the mix).
