    What am I doing wrong?

Okay so since launch I actually got fed up with the game for one main reason is not the bugs or glitches unbalanced play whatever. It's due to the fact that I get killed by anyone within 10-15 shots. I have 388k toughness with full FULL 75% armor mitigation. I die in less than seconds. My friend who could not believe I die so fast with that sweet up when he is at 295k toughness and 69%armor mitigation.

I don't understand what I am doing wrong here. My build before this patch worked fine I had decent gun fights now bam bam bam dead yay so fun. Honestly guy please tell me what I am doing wrong or if there is any way you can't help. My friends is convinced the game is some how bugged and is not reading my toughness correctly. I just don't understand it. Like I said first time since release I stopped playing this game for a week now and moved back to eso.

If you guys have any advice or anything please help!

I have 388k and 75. I feel like a tank in pve. I'm not sure if i can take 10 to 15 hits though. But I can get shot for a while in the back and still get away alive in the dz.

I think you're getting unlucky and fighting players that use Explosive Ammo. It wrecks your health bar and toughness can't do anything to stop it, only EDR will.

Pve is fine for me as well agents are the issue and maybe your right unlucky might be it. I do not have a ton of EDR but I do have some. Just drives me away from dz and I play on there a lot because pve had no content. Running though FL and CS are way too easy with a decent team v

PVE hits harder than PVP... so my guess is youre bad at the game and run around alot like a derp. 10-15 has to be an exageration because if you can take that many shots from lvl 34 LMB you are doing fine... you are just bad at taking cover and monitoring your threat.

    I have 385 tougheness, 75%ARM, 63%EDR and 15%Elite Damage Reduction.

I can take about 6-8 shots in the back.

In PvP much much more, especially on smart cover.

I'd say maybe 15%. To the other no I don't run around like a as you say derp. And trust me next I pop in the game I'll record the next took me I die or even get shot once. Secondly I never once said that i take alot of shots from lvl 34s but i cool be wrong let me check ...... Uh nope you're wrong there so stop looking for an argument and go somewhere else to comment.

Ok well don't quotet me, but explosive ammo with DMRs does about 140k damage in PvE if I'm not wrong. (closish to that amount).

In PvP with no EDR that would end up being about 42k.

So getting 2-3 hit with the prolific M1A loaded with explosive ammo is well within the realm of possibility for those who do not have at least 2PC FM. Assuming you are not sitting in Smart Cover or Mobile Cover with maxed out explosive resists through performance mods.

The real question is whether you are being shot with explosive ammo.

You might want to adopt some defensive skills if you are PvP heavy. Concealment effects will remove a chunk of enemy critical damage and getting smart cover will help you a lot.
