Actually it is available in NZ via the xbox digital store, just not by any retail stores as far as I have seen.

Seems odd that Ubi wouldn't recognise New Zealand in their own pre-order services, but grant access to the alpha/ beta for those who purchase from steam... :/

There are standard, deluxe and gold editions for digital. Still trying to find out what the physical editions will be.
