I have read on game debate that Gtx 780/R280X is needed for medium-high 40-60 fps.

Gtx r9 290/970 will probably be high 40-60 fps.

Gtx 970 OC 1420+ mhz clock 4012 memory clock will probably get 60 fps high settings/ or gtx 980 non OC

Now my question to devs is , what card is needed for ultra 1080p 60 fps? Will gtx 980 TI 4gb be enough? Or do i need more vram?

The recommended specs haven't been announced yet, although I almost never listen to those. I believe a GTX 980 should get 60fps at ultra. Or at the very least, 50-60fps. The new GTX 1070 and higher should be overkill for this game at 1080p.

Looking at the map size which have been presented I think gtx 970 quiet enough to 1080p . Everything we learn after the presentation of the official hardware requirements.

Honestly, yeah. GTX 970 is perfect, but maybe with some graphical enhancements and larger game modes, especially with the SP, MAYBE the GTX 970 will have a challenge.

Should have said everything above 980 ti, as gtx 1070 is about 1-2% faster then 980 TI

Because this game requires 16gb ram it's certainly gtx 970 won't get 60 fps at ultra 1080p even oc'd. But maybe high.
I believe the card needed is like 980 oc for ultra 60 fps 1080p, but only if the game uses 4b vram max.

I have the impression that the big role will be played in this game processor . There will be a lot of objects that are moving. Among other things, a lot of characters and mobs.
