The Downgrade Is Real in GR:WL

Saw the game play at E3 and again surprise surprise ****ing Ubisoft pulls it's same bs over and over again not matter how hard we cried here on the forums for them not to downgrade the product and what do they do? They ****ing do it anyways! What the hell is wrong with you!!!?

You said you guys were "Listening" and again you lied! I am so done with you Ubisoft. That's it for me. No more buying games from your garbage bs deceitful lying asses.

All this company does is Lie Lie Lie! For all you guys saying that "Graphics doesn't matter" Well graphics do matter especially when you have a nice gaming PC and they could have kept the graphics the same as the first reveal with no complications on other machines.

They just downgraded it so it can be on par with Consoles. ****ING BS! I don't even know why I gave you the chance to prove yourself. I should have known better.

If you really cared about PC gamers you would have 3x the graphics you do on Console. That would have said something good about the company but nope. Yeah really nice "LISTENING". Now I know for sure the game is going to flop upon release.

I don't know about you, but I don't jump to conclusions about games until they're actually released. You're comparing one pre-release in development trailer to another pre-release in development trailer... Obviously things are going to change from build to build.

I'd request the community stop harping on this until the game actually comes out. Then, if there's a significant downgrade, complain all you wish. Until then, it's literally irrelevant and pointless to do so.

Dude this is a tactical shooter, why are you focused on the graphics? And only going for PC would be a stupid move by Ubisoft considering there are a lot more players on consoles.

What did they lie about exactly?

They can't be accused of downgrading before release. They are showing you footage in the honest way you asked for. Your criticism is based on the precept that they hold the real gameplay until after they have released, but now you're also criticising them for showing it.

Console sales will pay for the game so the suggestion that it should be sold on PC quality graphics and marketed that way could also be thrown back at Ubisoft.

Graphics is not a big deal for me, I rather less eye candy and better gameplay than the other way around. but this is why if you present the truth to the people from the beginning, most people won't want to take your head off. Kudos to the Devs for the real presentation although, I do hope that PC rigs will have the option to optimize the game with better graphics than that of the XB1.

I am not overly impress with the gameplay I saw, too many things to list why I am not but because I understand they were trying to impress the fanbois with it I'll pass.

I did get a better feel of what this thing will be all about and that is a good thing at least.

I do hope they will show more than that at some point and way before release.

meh... id take summit strike level graphics if the gameplay, environment, and AI were upgraded to create a cohesive whole that allows multiple ways to traverse/interact with the environment... moreso if the "downgrade" in graphics allowed for a larger squad/fireteam with solid AI.

There's a lot of random civilians and such in the game, when we played in Paris they were all over the place. You didn't see them in this trailer because the Ghosts were attacking hardened cartel strongholds as far as I can tell. Not going to be a lot of civilian activity in a cartel base of operations...

Yeah the voice acting was bad, would of much rather seen a live gameplay demo of four devs on stage playing a mission.

Was definitely recorded using a controller as opposed to keyboard/mouse. We used controllers in Paris because the keyboard/mouse mapping wasn't setup in-game yet and they didn't have a config-file preset or anything for us to use. We definitely played the PC version there though, and I'm sure once they have UI / UX elements ready for control mapping they'll start showing some keyboard/mouse gameplay.
