How do you guys feel about the 'El Pozolero'mission video?

First of all, fantastic to see the game with REAL gameplay! I does look pretty decent I must say.

The coop-aspect is awesome, but I would have liked to see more of the game in terms of customization and that sort of stuff. The AI didnt look to sharp though - But nice to see it didnt take many shots to kill.

VERY dissapointed that we have to wait over ½ year to play it

How could you be dissapointed it's over half a year away. The animations were terrible, the A1 looked extremely dumbed down. Every shot was 1 shot Kill. I didn't see any kind of damage from the actual player. This game has a ton of work on it especially if they are going to make it Player vs AI only, yikes! this game will be such a huge let down, i feel bad for anyone that is buying it.

Okay. The game looks VERY unfinished and I'm extremely happy that they showed an honest trailer about the state of the project. The AI seems to still be in the very early stages as do some other mechanics. The release date is realistic considering how much work they still have.

Overall, I'm positively impressed. Good job, devs. Can't wait to see what comes after some more polish and scrubbing. I'll stick around for now

EDIT. Turningpoint, you really can't say yet if it's gonna be a huge let down or not. Too early to tell. Give 'em some time...

It looks to be a solid coop experience although way too much driving and graphically disappointing.

Whats wrong with 1 hit kills? After playing The Division I am looking forward to more realistic damage games.

Totally agree. Cinematic is impressive (again), gameplay not.

Enemy AI so dumb. What will be my teammates, if is paly solo?

    1. People who previously had been fretting that weapons or vehicles would be gated exclusively on some XP mechanic hopefully can take some measure of reassurance in seeing that the players had the option of switching from their own firearms to the guns the cartel shooters dropped.

    2. I suppose I'd have to see an actual gunfight to solidify my opinion, but I was deeply unimpressed with the AI as shown. First, I went back and watched a second time to double check--every single one of the enemy shooters was static. No one was on foot patrol. No one was sneaking off from their sentry position to sneak a cigarette or take a leak. No one ever bothered turning his head to find out what was going on behind him and instead stubbornly continued to stare in the same, wrong direction.

Second, they don't seem to react in realistic ways. I was hopeful during the first infiltration when Holt shot the third guy with the unsilenced PDW, and you could hear other people start shouting at each other in the distance. (Sidebar: what sort of brain damage does Holt have? "Let's try to keep this stealthy," he says, right as he's switching from his silenced pistol to a 'loud' weapon so he can shoot one random dude in the back. Holt puts the "special" in Special Forces.) But the two guys in the house essentially stood their ground. Meanwhile, the only guy in El Pozolero's workshop who reacted realistically to the sound of gunfire was El Pozolero himself. The last guard never turned around. And even though he'd just seen his boss run out of a building from the sound of two bursts of automatic fire, the last guy by the door just stood there looking the completely wrong direction.

I can only hope they dumbed down the AI so it would be completely predictable when they made their little video. Otherwise, I'm going to have to take a hard pass. These guys might as well just shoot themselves.

Short answer; not impressed. In fact, it did a good job of dashing my hopes that this is the GR game I'm waiting for. I'll wait and see what other marketing material (read: vids and articles) are released before making a yes/no decision to buy it.

I was expecting something that would be a hybrid between GTAV's open world/multi vehicle romp and GRAW. I was not disappointed, and I'm ok with that. My main question is, what keeps me coming back to the map and missions when they are all complete?

The gameplay trailer was an unapologetic work-in-progress trailer. I'd rather see that than just a polished CGI trailer and then be disappointed with the actual product.

Bold move by the devs for sure, but I wouldn't bash the clearly unfinished aspects of the game just yet.

That doesn't really help at all since the weapons used by the cartel are for the most part the generic M4, M9, AK type. I bet the Ghosts have to unlock their own weapons with said XP, I just hope we have the option to circumvent using that mechanic.
