    Major Operator Changes Incoming!

    A personel suggestion to massively improve balance between operators



    Hey Guys, just imagine the upcoming patch notes would include this:
    -Kapkanīs armor level is changed to light
    -Banditīs armor level is changed to heavy

    Whatīs your opinion on this suggestion?
    Maybe it looks strange, but think about it. Kapkanīs Gadget the booby traps need to be placed all around the map, so Kapkan has to move around a lot in the preparation phase to place down all 3 traps on proper positions. Secondly, Kapkan has access to the Silenced SASG-12 Shotgun, which is so damn underpowered ( Come on Ubisoft )
    If Kapkan would have Light Armor he could easily pick up his Plate Armor and leave the objective room, place down his 3 Traps and then stay anywhere on the map with his Silenced Shotgun, to get an epic flank off during the attack of the enemies. The Heavy Armor does not make any Sense if you ask me.

    Now letīs take a look on Bandit.
    I know he is a good Lurker/Roamer and many people like to play him. But all of his roaming potential comes from the Light Armor. His gadget does not require a lot of movement during the preparation phase because almost every round his gadget is placed on reinforced walls or shields around the objective room. Furthermore his Shotgun cant be silenced and there are no reasons to call him a Roamer, because his Gadget and weaponry are totally defensive. Kapkan and bandit both have access to C4 so I donīt think this would make a big difference.


    I am writing this post because I get mad everytime I try to play Kapkan. There is a reason why Kapkan has such a low picking rate in this game. He canīt be played competitive at all, just as it is right now. If you like this idea to make Kapkan and Bandit playable ( I know Bandit is totally playable but if you change Kapkan from Heavy to light armor you need a counterweight to maintain the overall balance ) please support me, share my idea wherever you want. Let Ubisoft know that you like this idea. On the other hand, if you totally disagree with me and you say: This is a terrible idea,( Yeah Iīm talking to you Bandit Fanboys ) then please let me know why and lets discuss about this in this thread.
    I am convinced that if enough people support this idea we can make a change. :-)

    The only change to Kaplan I want to see is the removal of the bolt on the traps. I use him all the time and I see no other changes needed.

    Bandit is perfect as is. Giving him 3 speed makes the player have to choose between roaming and doing the battery trick. With 3 armor he would be doing the battery trick 100% of the time.

    A change like this seems pointless. To me it just seem like you want speed on Kapkan so "insert excuse to do so" argument.

    I don't agree on changes to Bandit - exactly because his gadget doesn't require constant attention (just like Jager's) it's reasonable to have him roaming the map.

    While asking for giving Kapkan more mobility is reasonable I am not sure if 2 speed and 2 armor is all that bad. With Rook's armor you effectively have heavy armor while not being slow, meaning you can eat more bullets before going down. If anything I think that Kapkan's low pickrate comes from the fact that there are more interesting operators out there (like Valkyrie) and operators who have better traps (like Frost). If you make traps less noticeable (and thus more effective) I think more people would find him interesting operator.

    Kapkan is 1 Speed 3 Armor not 2&2.

    Exactly my thoughts, If anything it would be nice to see more 3 movement speed operators not just switching stats around. And on top of everything changing armor and movement has more to it then just changing the stats, 3 armoured operators are bulky and loud, big changes would need to happen for a change like this to happen.
