Ubisoft has an appeal process you mean and no they don't. Not really. People have been stone walled by Support. They demand the player prove they did not cheat. Problem is that it is impossible if they won't tell you when it was, what you did, what proof to send, where to send it or why the burden is on the player to record each and ever play session. People have had the best luck by using Twitter of all places.
To say that people got a ban overturned as being proof that the system works is ironic. If it worked, you wouldn't have a false positive to begin with.
This still does not address the remaining issues with the game. The massive grind, poor RNG, ganking, griefing, being kicked before rewards, falling through the maps, being teleported to a Safe House while in a mission, One is None not working and so on.
