I dont know why they have started maybe someone from Ubi will explain it for us, but I won't hold my breathe. The main thing is they are starting to ban people permanently and I'm all for that, but like Kyosji says they might and will be false positives and knowing Ubisofts track record its going to happen.
They still lack an appeal process, put the burden of proof on the gamer, won't tell people what they did/how they did it/why it is banned and there have been numerous reports of people being banned for playing with players who might have cheated but the matchmaking system was how they got grouped with them. In other words we gave you a matchmaking system but if you use it then it means you might get banned for good because the person we matched you with was cheating.
If I ever buy another game from Ubisoft it will have to be one I can play offline. No risk of a wrongful ban, no need for an anti-cheat, no risk of hackers and no risk of another part of the game designed like the DZ.
"based on what we witnessed when cheaters came back to the game,"
Just notice a lot of experienced player told it since the begining, cheater once, cheater forever.
It's funny to see players hacking your face, when you look at their tracker records you just realize they didn't played 14 past days. there are really strange coincidences![]()
To be perfectly hones, I have been playing online games since Neverwinter Nights back on AOL (91) and I have never been banned let alone accidentally. Now maybe I have just been lucky over the last 15 years...Originally Posted by Kyosji Go to original post

and like any laws you can turn arround it somehow. ...
that being said a good and simple way to do so is to move the "house" of division from eu to murrica on paper (in any of the many facility they have) ... that would put TD under murrica laws (there are none) but that's would be me solving that problem ... they may have choose other legal ways to do illegal thing![]()
Nether have I, but from this game I'm seeing a lot of people who were unbanned because of mistakes on the companies end. At this point, any time I see on the forums of someone claiming to be wrongfully banned, I take it as a strong possibility.Originally Posted by briljin01 Go to original post
They have no real systems or tools to prove that any violation has taken place. This applies to both violating Terms of Service and Code of Conduct.
Their inability to release a simple list of patch notes clearly shows the level of ineptitude we're dealing with. No one has any faith that they're banning the appropriate accounts. I have a decent list of players that claim they've broken no rules and yet they're banned. Some 14 days and some permanently.
This is actually great that they're so ignorant. Good times ahead! and Justice for all!
Right. And prisons are full of people who are innocent.Originally Posted by Kyosji Go to original post
