Who are you and what is your part in applying bans?

Well done? Are you kidding me?

After seeing how Overwatch's policy was with the gaming community and how much public applause it received, they are just trying not look stupid.

It should've been like this in the beginning.

Agreed, however there should also be an actual appeal process that works... for those falsely accused (and don't kid yourself, their process is hardly 100% accurate), it shouldn't be like pulling teeth to request a review and having Ubi respond with a decision, whether the ban is upheld or rescinded.

Well, also bad news.. Shows that Ubi/Massive had lied to us again. They stated that it was a legal reason within their country of operation that made it impossible for them to perm ban someone, or ban someone for longer than 15 days on first offense. If they are now going straight to perm bans, that means that was all a lie before.

Now, here's the kicker. What about their false positives? It's already been confirmed that their bans aren't always legit from people stating they got responses like a month after their ban that it was a mistake. Does this mean that if they 'accidentally' ban someone now, that instead of the ban being auto lifted after 14 days, they will have to wait for Ubi to do it manually on their side month(s) later?

I like the zero tollerence policy, and I love the game, but it's clear that with how things are going, it's scary to rely on their auto ban system to do the job correctly.

Should have been yes... and they realize they messed up... and are changing the way they handle cheating... a very GOOD thing...

    L-O-L

I thought the EU doesn't allow Ubisoft to do this...

NOW I really want to know the reason why we didn't have permabans from start. Cheaters made me quit Division on PC.
