    PS4K and The Division

As you may know, a new beefier version of the PS4, tentatively called the PS4K is coming out.

It looks like the PS4K will allow currently existing titles to run at higher resolutions and frame-rates. Other improvements may be available as well. Read about the PS4K in the links below.

    The Question:

Will we see an improvement in the visuals (resolution, frame-rate, draw distance, texture quality, effects etc) in the Division on the PS4K? Will you provide forward compatibility (read improvements) for the PS4K?

4k is a BS format due to .gov pushing HDCP 2.2

The consumer is the big loser in all of this.

All that fancy audio and video equipment that just pushes content and should be able to work with anything....well go spend thousands upgrading it

I guess that the only thing you might get is a higher frame rate.

If the game renders in 720p you cannot magically get 4k. It will be upscaled and AA will be done afterwards so it will look a bit better but a 500€ toaster cannot beat a gaming PC with a 300-1000€ graphics card. So there will be improvements but still there will be a gap.

games that lag well under 30 frames at times might stay locked at 30 but that's about it.30% increase in gpu is disappointing.
Although I guess for its intended use of playing 4K bluray enough.

I read that the GPU power is getting doubled. The CPU is getting a 30% increase.

"while doubling GPU power and increasing the clock speed should yield great dividends there, as well."

More than anything, I want the lighting effects from the E3 demo to be added back in.
