Hey what's up guys... There are a lot of people still stuggling with blackbeard. do you still think it's hard to kill him? What's the correct way to face him??

Cmon man we had this discussion already and it started a sh1tstorm. Do we really need to go through this again?

My perosnal opinion, no he is not OP. You just need to adapt to a different playstyle.
Remember when everyone cried that Frost is OP, and now everyone has adapted. Same with Blackbeard and it will be the same with the next operators I am sure.
Just stop the whining and start adapting.

Just in case, I can post some videos, where I faced Blackbeard upfront and killed him, you just need to aim for the tip of his head above the shield, or the torso bellow the shield. If I can manage that with a controller, PC players should have no problem doing the same

He is extremely OP. "Adapting playstyle" to work around an OP operator doesn't mean he isn't imbalanced. You need a 3 man squad to kill him, or set up a really good flank while distracting from the front, but that is not possible vs decent players. Compare him to glaz. Glaz has no shield and has a worse gun. He used to be good for peaking windows and getting picks, now you can do that safely with blackbeard.

And as for Frosts nerf. C4 was too much for her since she already had her beartraps as area denial device.

You said people complained about frost being OP and she wasn't... then why did they nerf her?

Do you think there is a reason maybe that they don't show the winrate of p2w operators on their website?

And whether you think he is OP or not is irrelevant, because I guarantee he will be nerfed. Everyone is complaining about him. You can even check your own stats and see your K with him in comparison to your other operators.

you should be sorry, the only reason Frost got a "Balance" and not a nerf, is because of her Traps, which can only be shot or blown up, and leaves IQ out to dry, her Super 90 sniper shotgun, which got a drop-off in range, though not much, on par with SPAS 12 and M1014 now, and a nitro cell, which caused her to be perceived as OP. I somewhat agree, though getting caught by C4 is pretty sloppy if you've played for a while.

Blackbeard doesn't need a nerf, he is not OverPowered. He has less than a half-shield, only covering the front, ant maybe 4 degrees of the sides of his head, if you decide to run straight into him and try to get a headshot, sorry man, you lose. try doing the same with blitz or montagne, shure it's harder to get a kill with a pistol, rather than spray and pray from an AR, or a scoped M110, but if you play tactically you can get recon, or at the very least avoid the face-on conflict until you can find a work-around to meeting him head-on with no cover. Yes, his Shield Provides Some Cover... you will need cover as well if you want to 1v1 him in alot of circumstances

People think he is OP. Was in a game the other night when my team didn't want me to push him because it was an "easy" kill for him. I said why and turned and killed him. People just see him and don't know what to do. He is easy to kill because most people with him don't realize how easy he is to kill from the side and let their guard down. On my ranked team he is deadly because I cover his flank so he can post up some where and kill guys without having to worry about being killed.

Ubisoft needs to stop listening to constant complainers who want to turn this game into an easy going shooter.
FFS, this game is meant to be difficult. An exessive use of team thinking and outsmarting is required in order to have the upper hand.
I don't care if they nerf Blackbeard, since I don't use him anyway. All I am saying is people need to get their heads out of their a55es and maybe consider that the game has been out for 8 months now and that they have still alot to learn. I can't stand it when people are holding their noses so high they won't smell their own sh1t.
Now to you my opinion might be irrelevant. To some it might not. Ubisoft has to consider both our opinions and that is what I am here for.
People need to learn their boundaries. I feel like I am constantly speaking to people who can't think further than their own box.
Consider this, there are people, like me, who invest alot of time into this game to improve and others don't.
Instead of coming to the forum and constantly complaining, why not ask player who do have more experience?

I agree, stop aiming for his head and nail him in the chest. Guns with high rates of fire do well. You have to ID your target quickly in this game and decide the best approach depending on operator. You cant just go for frontal attacks all the time. Blackbeard has a shield over his face so stop aiming for it. If hes on a window go outside and shoot him, or move to another location and wait for him to come in, or flank him while someone else draws his fire.
