throttle sometimes fails | Forums

Hi there!

Since I installed trials frontier on my iphone 5s the throttle regularly just stops working, and the bike just coasts along. It seems to happen at random, and I don't understand why. It never happened on my iphone 4s. One old thread on the internet seems to talk about a "throttle bug" but without any resolution. Any ideas?

Hello Trials Frontier Community!

I've been a long time player, this is my first post on the forum, and guess what, it's on the support thread.
I too have this annoying throttle bug, since i got an iphone5s (IOS 9.2.1) a few weeks back. Game was working better on my old 4s with IOS 7.
Tried re-installing the app, without any success.
This bug is makes the bunker almost unplayable, thanks god i finally got Traction Testground today! At last!

Sometimes, i also have some slow downs and crashes when connected (game works fine when playing offline) i also noticed the phone gets warmer when it happens.

Hopping there will be a solution soon, really love this game!

Hey deadvibes - I just tried moving the throttle controls a little up and to the left (in settings - set up controls) and that seems to have sorted out the problem for now. Let me know if it works for you

Thanks for the reply Awoogamuffin, i've already tried moving the controls, but it doesn't change anything.
Throttle problem is still happening randomly

It's been a happening right since the start. I have messaged RL before trying to be cheeky and claim back lost GTs because of this. They didn't give me any GTs but they said they are working on it

Just switched to iPhone SE and I'm having the same issues. No issues on my very old iPhone 4.

Tried moving the controls positions, but it's still the same.

Does anyone have any news on this?

Got feedback from support that this should be fixed on the next updade. Let's see.

That happens all time for me on iPhone SE. I`ve already reported them before. No success, though.

It's been happening to me intermittently for the last week or so.....it'll happen for a few hours, then clear up. Frustrating.....

Hi there ...

I’ve been playing trials frontier for about two years. I didn’ have any problems with my iPhone 5, but after switching to iPhone SE, I have had so many problems playing the game. Every time I run the application, the game crashes and I can’t just do anything about it. I tried to reinstall the game a couple of times, but still the same.

Could anyone help me with this?
