What new features or old features do you want to come back?

I'd just like to get Ubisoft some honest feedback here try not to swear keep it clean. I just want to know what you guys want them to add. I know I want to keep the Paladin type theme maybe not exactly on the Paladin but being able to walk around in between missions was nice, even being able to call Sarah was a nice touch. There were the small details like that in Blacklist like finding the "Recon Data" that contained concept art. I also want to see the comeback of either maybe his older costumes and his hair I still don't know why Sam shaved his head. Vick Coste should play a bigger role maybe as the knew pilot or air craft manager for 4E. Kobin should stay with the team he was a nice slight comical break in the action sometimes. Make Briggs a little more off the books regardless of who is taking over Sam's job at whatever point in the series make sure the fan base likes him. Sam broke the rules at some points but it was for the right reasons have Briggs become more like that. The small things are what will bring Thai fan base back together, right now it's kind of torn apart (the crowbar situation).

If SC7 does indeed get announced this E3, it might be a little late for major feedback of features to be honest.
Make no mistake, there will be some sort of feedback, they did listen while making Blacklist somewhat and i do believe the devs want the best for the series.

here is the big thread we had back in 2013 where all the features we want to come back are included, hopefully they read through that, it pretty much includes all i want.

Nice I know the devs will probably not be able to add on from this thread but I'm just wanting to see if people opinions have changed in the last 3 years. Have yours?

Everything they took out of the game is a start.

ALSO, A MAJOR THING, the Voice Audio. I want to be able to turn the voice off in Blacklist because 1, everybody talks WAY TOO MUCH and 2. I HATE Eric Johnson trying to be Michael Ironside. It's like Ubisoft tried to troll the players with it. They let you turn off ALL audio EXCEPT the voice.

I'll probably update this list as well as time goes on.

We have to get used to Eric though because Ironside is not coming back because of the new mo-cap technology. Yes his voice was higher pitched than Ironside and it didn't initially sound like Fisher it's actually starting to grow on me.

    Lets see

Bringing back classic must have features that defined SC like Lockpicking&Hacking
Don't force the playing in to detection or action sequences of any kind unless 100% sure its story related and only happens once or twice
Multiple paths through a level, like a sandbox, rarely would a player needs to be forced through somewhere
Write better stories and Characters with a better script
Better movement with variable speeds, Closer than ever animations
Variable CQB animations, more detail on the takedowns, more freedom on how we takedown an enemy, holstering weapons etc
    Interrogations
Proper light&Shadow mechanics without relying too much on cover
Sam needs a better voice actor, at this point i'd have Troy Baker (great actor, but overused) other than Eric
Storyline thats more related to espionage and minor threats before revealing to be something bigger, no actionmuricaterrorist story pls.
    More Vision modes
    Keypads
    OPSAT.
Reading Computer Emails and learning more info from that
Optional objectives that may/may not affect future missions in a slight way
Remove the Paladin for a more realistic option, an underground building or safehouse.
More uniforms with camos but not relying to much on RPG stats just as a visual change.
More levels with Civilians and general population making the levels feel more alive.
Better AI and more variation with what they are doing (sleeping, watching TV etc)
Alarms need a comeback with alarm stages
Better UI, things like light/sound meter removal of the objective marker etc, make the game more realistic and less "gamey"
    Split Jump
    PROPER save system
    Deniable ops from Conviction
More freedom on the Equipment screen
    More gadgets
Focus on a great single player game without online elements.
Coop with our own customizable agents
    SvM like in Chaos Theory
    Customizable Difficulty (AI,Health etc)

Can't remember anything else, but that's pretty much what i want, i don't think anything has changed.

I agree with the Paladin we saw what almost plane nearly crashing. I loved some of the optics although I wish the sonar had just looked like tante goggles he had in conviction. I'm pretty sure he still has his OPSAT. Split jump and more guard reactions for sure! Emails would also be another great addition.

He has his OPSAT but you cannot use it, wouldn't it be better if we could open it, read our objectives, emails, map etc...

No, we don't. Eric absolutely sucks. They need to stop getting people who are cheap, or just get somebody who really brings out a good character. The pitch of his voice was really the problem. It's how he tries to CHANGE his pitch to be Ironside AND his personality in the game is so ****ing generic.

Yes, and Ubisoft better make sure to NOT slow the players speed when his animation changes. Just change the animation, NOT how fast he is moving. That makes the game inconsistent.

I thought of him, but I don't see him being a Splinter Cell too much so if they do somehow get him which I don't see because Ubisoft is cheap, I hope they make Troy Baker play a character who is rich in originality.

    Deniable ops from Conviction
I'd also like to add, Make a GHOST type of mode for Deniable Ops if it returns. One that will let you get different types of objectives and leave everyone untouched and make sure ALL levels can be played in that mode unlike Blacklist where you're restricted to three levels.

    Customizable Difficulty (AI,Health etc)
REALLY not sure about this one. Usually when we get these things, they can also be a problem. The Thief reboot had this and kind of felt... un... well, it didn't feel completely right. If they do this, PLEASE do it CORRECTLY.

I wish there was a way to make your comment top comment or something cause you nailed it.

Emails would also be another great addition.
They weren't an addition. They were removed. And some of them were actually funny and some gave you info on the place and told about a secret path or gave away a door code.

I wonder if the OPSAT was the SMI map that you could open during a mission. By the way I loved the SMI it was just nice.
