*sigh*... because they changed the way your GS is calculated for the DZ in patch 1.2...

Now... it takes your highest GS weapon and the highest armor pieces (chest, backpack, mask, gloves, kneepads, holster) in your inventory OR in your stash and divides by 7...

So... you have higher GS items you're not using on you or in your stash...

Wow, really? So i have pieces of sets in my stash im saving and its calculating that, mean while im paying the price by being over tiered? Holy **** these idiots are not that bright are they. Glad i didnt buy the seasons pass. Anyway thanks for reply.

Was in the same boat... no way ready for 201+ bracket... and run solo a lot of the time... and got melted by NPC's that before I could at least fight and have a decent chance of winning against... but not now...

Work around is to have another character... put everything in your inventory not being used in your stash, then put all items in your stash onto another character... should work to get you back to the 161-200 bracket...

Forget everything you learned about the lower bracket. This is a whole different ball game. My suggestion, don't get rid of your higher gear that you have in your stash. Get used to the new higher bracket. It's harder but the flipside is you get the best loot in the game. I can't even muster up enough patience to do the HVTs or incursions for ONE 214 piece any more. As an example last night with one random team, we got 3 supply drop crates within minutes. We just ran from chest to chest and ignored the first two bosses until we reached the third. That's three 240 gear pieces in around 4-5 minutes. Trust me, you will enjoy the higher bracket more in around a week from now once you're drowning in new gear and weapons. The only problem is you might get a few people kicking you because of your GS, so matchmake with yourself as team leader and find 3 more 180-200 players. I roll with sub 200 players all the time and they do just fine if they work as a team.

It's not impossible at all... I've done it... I'm a casual player... hit the DZ for credits farming NPC's and to finish off the daily/weekly assignments... would much rather do so at my own pace in a bracket I have a semi-fighting chance while solo running (schedule precludes grouping a lot of the time, might have time for one mission run then have to drop or go AFK for long periods... most groups don't wait around that long... lol....).

To do it, you just empty your inventory of items you're not using by putting them in your stash... log out, log in with a different character and empty the stash into THAT ones inventory... log out, log back in with your main and viola...

And while I HAVE a few 214 set pieces... meh... my GS currently is 187 I believe (2xFinal Measures, 2xLone Stars, 2xHE - gloves/holster) but I get better toughness/bonus from the lower scored items so far... RNGesus doesn't like me I think... lol...

Thanks for the idea's and suggestions guys. Was just really annoyed about that. Seems that it"s the people who don't cheat, glitch or live in the game are the one's that are penalized. Thanks again.

Well the reason for this is to stop the scumbags from equipping a a green secondary and sidearm to go rape people with their 204 AUG vicious/brutal in lower tiers. You should be thankful for that. Unless you're one of the scumbags trying to get into a lower tier to plunder and pillage.

But it doesn't work tho'... as anyone can get into the lower tiers still...
