Source: http://www.kotaku.co.uk/2016/06/02/t...d-for-cheating"Last month, Blizzard promised to ban anybody who cheats in Overwatch, no second chances. It looks like they’re following through.
Overwatch has only been out for a bit more than a week, and Blizzard is already showing cheaters and hackers the door. First up, users of a popular Overwatch cheat program began reporting bans en masse yesterday, to the point that the program’s creators have shut down authentication servers until they can figure out what to do.

Meanwhile in China, Blizzard and partner NetEase have been swinging the banhammer (...) Earlier today, they announced a 1572-person ban wave. Not only that, they revealed the username of everybody who’d been banned. Savage."

This is one way to do it. There's no shame in taking inspiration from success, devs.
the damage has been done, took way to long and the majority of players already left.Originally Posted by Natchai_Ubisoft Go to original post

From a commercial web site selling Division cheats:
While this is good news it is in my opinion not even light at the end of the tunnel. It seems that avoiding AimBot leaves ubisoft with little more than reports from players with video evidence to act upon.Increased scrutiny in the Division.
We have noticed an increase in ban reports from users of our the division cheat. After checking the game out thoroughly we couldn't find any new client-side detections which makes us think that the division improved it's server-sided Aimbot detection code. We therefore advise you not to use our Aimbot and especially not Silent Aiming, until [admin name deleted] has had an opportunity to look at the issue at hand.
More worrying are increasing numbers of allegations of unjustified bans and of absolutely inadequate handling of players' appeals against them. Ubisoft will have to do better here, and soon.
