    Scott Mitchell's Return Theory.

So this game is supposed to be somewhat modern taking place around 2019-2020. If you remember GRAW 2 takes place in 2014. I would like to theorize that maybe Scott Mitchell returns as the Ghost's commanding office/higher up. He gives them there missions and such. Remember this is a new team of Ghost's that we ourselves created so did Mitchell retire? What do you think? Would you like a return of Mitchell?

Didn't Mitchell die at the end? or... didn't he!

Bring him back I say... as long as they don't bring the annoying teammates that wouldn't shut up for more than a minute

True the teammates were incredibley annoying but if Mitchell makes a return they could make a whole new game about this 5-6 yr gap between GRAW 2 and GRW

Well Mitchell was a Major by Future Soldier in 2025, but not head of the unit. The head of the Ghosts by the time of Future Soldier is Susan Gray, as a Colonel. So maybe we could see Scott Mitchell as leading another team in the field?

I'm not down with Mitchell returning. He became a silly caricature by the time GRAW2 rolled around and his one liners combined with the psychotic rantings of General Keating (I think that's what his name was) made my eardrums bleed. I also didn't really appreciate the way Mitchell was handled in FS because he was just a generic voice-in-your-head type of character that could have been anybody...and honestly it felt like it was someone else after they changed his voice actor.

I really would like to see this team in Wildlands being a brand new one.

Yeah i can see why you would like a new team. Maybe they could have one of the NPC ghosts be from the team in FS like how Ghost Lead got started or his first few missions maybe tie GRAW2-GRW-GRFS all together it will be interesting to see if they try to link them together or not at all.

    Yup.

I found Mitchell to be entirely forgettable. In OGR the characters were memorable largely because of their loadout and specializations...furthermore, as you progressed through the campaign, they'd collect medals and accolades based on their mission performance and this really made me attached to my usual squad of 6.
