I would like to start by saying I really like the Division. I think it is fun and I really appreciate all the effort that is going into the game all the time. I also appreciate that the developers are trying to listen to everyone and find some solutions to legitimate concerns of the players. My concern for this post is that the gear and weapons seem to be off. I think when I have a 204 weapon it should definitely be better than a 182 weapon in damage, dps and talents, not just talents that I may or may not be able to unlock since I have to have such high numbers on stamina, firearms and electronics. I think many of the gear set pieces should reflect better realistic numbers. Example if I have a 240 gear piece versus a 191 the 240 should have better armor, health and electronics stats as well as better and higher perks. I also think that the toughness is great yet I can have 400,000 toughness and still get creamed how in the world should that even be possible. I understand the armor mitigation, but still it seems a bit much when I have that much toughness and I can still get one shot killed or critically damaged by a shotgun nervous or sniper. I can't do near that kind of damage to the AI. I think the player should be able to do more damage to the enemy AI as well. What about my weapon that has 13k damage, 239,00 dps and I have good gear set pieces and yet it still seems like I am not able to put in the damage it would appear that I can, even if I hit all or a majority of the rounds on target, there should be more realistic outcomes to what is expected from the weapons and gear as I have mentioned in this post. I hope I have explained it well enough that my point is seen and that there will be some steps to change how the gear and weapons reflect damage and damage mitigation and how they actually do damage and mitigate damage.
