At first glance, this seems to be "Oh, another one of the many threads out there"...BUT let's make this straightforward.
You might be on a hunt for specific items i.e. 240gs sentry backpack with firearm stat on it or you might be a "kid in a candy store" farmer i.e. no specifics build in mind yet, just hoping to grind for those new gear sets.
Now let me guess what you usually do for this kind of farming. If you have a steady set of mates, good for you! You guys just hit DZ or complete incursion challenge mode. After a session, you guys harvest the loot, you do a barter trade among yourselves. Rinse and repeat.
NOW for those without the usual team mates (due to timezone, work, internet conneciton etc) this is a proposal:
1) Get the PSN apps on your IOS/android
2) State your wants and details in this thread or in the app message, i.e.
PSN: jabberwockkid2
Timezone: AEST
Wants: 240 GS Tactician sets
How: DZ (bosses, sealed cache in 201+ bracket zone), Falcon Lost challenge mode
Mic: Optional
3) If you manage to find your steady team mates through this arrangement, you could set up an event in the PSN apps.
Pros:
1) Farming is always fun with like minded people
2) More efficient as you get to trade for the item you want with your team mates (assuming there are 4 of you and you beat falcon lost, there is a high chance someone would get a striker gear in your team
3) Team up with people that suits your game time session
Cons:
1) Extra finger work downloading the PSN app
