Copy&Paste?
Is there a Copy/Paste function in the Editor and i just haven't found it yet? This would be soooo helpful.
Let's take for example a ring structure and assume i want to attach tiny lights to it. it would be so nice if i could place the ringstructure, place one light, copy the light, rotate the ring WITH the light, paste a new light, rotate the ring with the two lights, paste a light, rotate the ring with the three lights, rotate ring & lights... and so on ...

There isn't a copy past function necessarily, but you can emulate one by keeping an extra copy of the light above the ring as you rotate.
1. Make the ring into a glue group.
2. From the extra light above the ring, copy a new light onto the ring.
3. Attach the light to the glue group.
4. Rotate the whole glue group.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 as many times as necessary, while keeping the extra copy of the light above the ring.
Every time you copy the light you could use the Snap feature to place the new light in the same location along the ring. I've done this exact procedure before to make an evenly spaced water wheel. Hope this helps

Yeah, thanks for the input. I went another way: placed the ring, placed the light where i wanted it to be, set the snap tool to the ring and placed a dummy object somewhere near the light, glued it with the light and moved the pivot of this gluegroup to the center of the ring. i now than just duplicate the gluegroup, rotate it at a fixed angle and go on until i finished it. :-)
