Always a disappointment when in end game to receive a 182 weapon or worse a 163.
they may as well save you the time and just give you a HE weapon part or 5k credits.

I would like it a lot of there could be an update to change this.
there are enough worthless items in the game. anything green, the grey drops you get from the citizens, at least blue items you can see the light at the end of the tunnel but sometimes I am too lazy to pick them up.

is it a bad idea to want these items to have some type of value?
take a 163 weapon reward from S&D or hard level bosses. Tactical Aug with great perks but stunted growth. (the following idea may be an issue with the current stash space available).
3-5 tactical augs GS 163 can be upgraded to a 182. 3-5 182GS tactical augs upgrade to a 204 (or less like a 191 but never saw a 191 wep)
so in essence, 9 GS163 identical tactical augs (not counting talents) can be upgraded to a 204 with random talents. maybe even throw in a PHX cred requirement too. 25 to upgrade 5 163s to a 182. 50 or more for the 204

it would make me look at what kind of weapon I got at least. right now they are junked immediately and sold or deconstructed.
same with set gear. the amount of identical gear required could be 20 and it would still restore value to these obsolete drops. 191>214>240 for set, and 163>182>204 for HE

and why does deconstructing grey items give you green mats? purple gives you blue?... ok I got sidetracked..

hard mode missions are not worth the phx creds. definitely not worth doing for the HE reward. they are obsolete for end game. this would restore value

this should only apply to dropped items not crafted ones. the devs stay on track with their non crafting kick, and add more value to dropped items, lower tiered missions and phx creds.

someone posted earlier about the citizens too. I really don't want to give them a medkit on my way to a mission. especially not for a grey sidearm. I still do though, cause I am looking for whites as gear place holders but I am convinced they only drop side arms, rare backpacks and gloves and a mask too I think. green crafting mats would be an improvement, with a chance of a blue. but a random mission!, that would be sweet. like "thanks for the medkit, Boys get em!" and some mobs jump out and start shooting at you.

I don't care how it is done, but can anyone dispute there are enough worthless items out there?
thanks for your time.
