For a game that is supposed to be a cover based shooter. I sure do get shot through cover, around cover, and grenades are like heat seeking now. Seriously I watched one curve around a building at someone. 1.2 was a fail. Other people may have a different experience but for me this game died already. Way to go Ubisoft. I should have known you'd find a way to suck the enjoyment from this game. Your nefarious plan has worked. Cover based shooter actually means roll like a convulsing spider monkey and pray no one has a flame thrower or a grenade. Guess I'll buy a new game today
I noticed myself that after 1.2 no matter the cover you use, you will still get shot through it. About the grenades, there is no use in even talking about it, they're as bad as ever. And yes, the shotgunners are toned down a notch, but now you don't have two rushing at you at the same time, you got five or six.
Whatever...
Angles. If the creeps are above you, they're shooting over your cover. If they're next to you, they're shooting around your cover. Being crouched behind something isn't an instant invulnerability toggle. Take elevated cover and tell me how many times you're shot through it. Grenades are used to flush you out, and they do a bang-up job of it. No matter how many times in a day I spam the incursion I haven't seen a grenade do anything against the laws of physics and I personally watch the grenadiers, since their tossing animation and the grenade flying actually comes before the red circles.
edit: disclaimer: I don't trust the dev's coding, i'm only speaking from my own experience.
Oh, one thing that happened to me a few times in past two days... I seem to get hit by an invisible NPC and by the sound of it and my character's animation, it's a guy with a baseball bat or a golf club, always when the last NPC in the attacking group is dead. I stumble, and get moved out of cover but there is no NPC there whatsoever. It happened in PVE and it happened in the DZ as well.
Yeah I was talking about this yesterday.Originally Posted by Aeorath Go to original post
