Far Cry 4 Stuck on Loading Screen after final Shangri La mission!

I defeated the giant magma bird of death and was treated to a loading screen that never finished loading. It looks like it goes to 100% and just sits there forever...

    Windows 7 Fully updated 64bit
AMD FX 8350 eight core 4000Mhz
    8gb ram
    ATI r7 x360

Saw a forum post says to try it on low settings, I get the same result.

This is ANOTHER broken game on PC by Ubisoft. Assassins Creed 3 was so bug riddled it was ridiculous, now this.

Deadlines are not what making good games is about... Take the time to FINISH THE GAME before release, I can wait another year or two before it comes out as long as THE GAME WORKS! I spent $60 on this piece of crap when it came out and couldn't play it for over a year, had to upgrade my whole machine, still had buggy issues that weren't worked out until it finally got patched, and it's still unstable as hell! No other game I play has as many issues as this...

Please figure this one out, I'm now stuck with a savegame that just takes me to a boss fight that drops me into a loading screen that doesn't finish loading...

    also try other drivers

make sure you have no backround apps open and reduce your in game settings for AA and AO

i used to have an ASUS factory overclocked R9 270 X

    https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/R9270XDC2T2GD5/

    http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R9-270-vs-Radeon-R7-360
its about the same GPU as your card ....

could only run the game in 1080 P with a mix of medium to high settings in 1080 P so ..i ..upgraded to a ASUS Strix GTX 960 so i could run the game with ULTRA settings in 1080 P

and yes your GPU is only a bit faster then the previous gen card that was a 260 X

those cards could only run far cry 4 in 720 P with decent results

don't believe me ..........look here ..your card no matter what is not that much better then a an Nvidia GTX 750 ti ......look at the link i just posted .. then see this page

    http://www.hardocp.com/article/2015/...8#.V0tT_ZErIdU

you card = just a tad faster then a GTX 750 ti in real world benchmarks

    they said about the 750ti and 260 X ...

Now we come to the cheapest cards in this evaluation, the GTX 750 Ti and Radeon R7 260X. The GTX 750 Ti is based on first generation Maxwell, and 260X is based on newer GCN than 290X or 290. However, even those architecture changes can't save these for performance. Neither one was able to play well at 1080p with any decent quality settings. To make either one playable at 1080p you'd have to play at "Low" settings, and turn off AO. Basically, it makes the game look like crap.
Our only option was to drop the resolution to 720p, 1280x720. At this resolution we could raise the settings quite a bit, providing a better image quality in the game. We were able to set both to "Very High" settings, which is just one step down from "Ultra" quality. So even at 720p, these still cannot maximize image quality in the game, we still have to sacrifice some level of image quality. Also, no Godrays. So these video cards are very slow for this game despite these having newer architectures. These cards just can't cut it.

ALSO the recent AMD drivers DO have a bug related to the AMD gaming evolved application so make sure you shut that off in your vid card settings
(its even in the most recent driver release notes and every driver PAST 15.7.1 and the Crimson series drivers)

crimson drivers also may be unstable if your bios files are old ..so check your bios too make sure you have the latest one installed for both your MOTHERBOARD and GPU
is what AMD recommends with all the newer drivers ....last time i contacted AMD support over an issue with FarCry Primal and my old 5770 card .. once i updated my system bios and vid card bios , and performed a clean install of my drivers on that machine the crashes in PRIMAL went away \

\check with your board MFR for updated bios files for both motherboard and GPU

try also to set your GPU ..or run with all medium detail settings (not LOW )
i completed the full game at least 4 times on that R 9 270 X without a single problem with crashing
drivers i used were AMD catalyst Omega drivers from December 2014 for win 7 ......and AMD catalyst 15.7.1 with Win 10

if all else fails contact Ubi and AMD support

also i will add the game was finished on time and i even ran far cry 4 fine on my old junky dell E 520 machine

with a core 2 quad Q 6600 6 gig of system ram and only an AMD HD 7750 1 gig card ..ran the game with medium detail settings in 720 P

and .. .COMPLETED the game successfully without any errors ..i bought Far Cry 4 the night it shipped ...completed it before the 1.5.0 patch was released (current ver is 1.10 .0 )

current version of far cry 4 1.10.0 ) still runs fine on that machine with older AMD drivers (15.7.1 ) it also runs Far Cry Primal very well in 1440 X 900 with normal detail settings even with my old HIS AMD 5770 GPU which i currently i recently installed as i sold my 7750 )

most likely your issue = Drivers or bios or settings ..on your PC ..not a busted game released before its time

where is who ? what is your issue and what platform are you on OC? id your version just up[lay //or pc steam + uplay what does your system hardware look like ?

what drivers do you use .. have you upgraded your vid card without using DDU ? are you overclocking ?

game runs fine here on 3 systems .. ran fine on 2 others as well \

so its kinda hard to trouble shoot your issue in the dark with no info about it

yes with any AMD gpu use DDU and install your vid drivers //amd has already released very bad divers

contact AMD support for more info on that

the rx 360 series also is a low end GPU
