...Or were we all nerfed? The CM missions, though still very doable, feel much harder now. I knew that the DZ enemies were buffed, but did not know everything was. First CM since the 1.2 update I did was Russian, which I always thought was the hardest, but not hard. I matchmade for the mission and had a typical team of 190-somehting to 200+ players. Dudes were dying left and right. I had not seen that since the first time I ever ran Russian with only purple gear. It was fun, but at the end I felt bad because another guy and I were pushed back to the entry while our group-mates lay dead by the fountain. We cleared it, but it has never felt so hard and they lay there for awhile. On the flip side, Falcon Lost on Hard feels easier than it was pre-1.2.

I'll note that I am mourning the loss of my 4-piece sentry, and have not dialed in a new build that doesn't leave me with just 5000 skill power. I always ran at least 10,000, but my current gear WRECKS my toughness no matter how I try to bring that up. My healing sucks.
As you said, the CM are still doable, but the NPCs behave differently now. For a game that has "cover based" as one if its core mechanics, it's sure getting further and further away from it. I've been shot through buses, grenades thrown like curve balls around corners, fire kill me by glancing at it. It's a shoulder roll free for all now.
Really, Sniper, this is getting out of hand. There's pages of threads since 1.2 talking about a stealth nerf or NPC buff or weapon tweak or toughness bug, take your pick.
It really slams home how little trust the playerbase has in the coding of our illustrious developers.
Having dropped the 4pc sentry and reckless chest before patch, and using the same exact gear and weapons now, I feel no difference. I can kill two elites with a magazine from my vector, and shotgunners and snipers take 2-3 shots to drop me. Same as before patch.
This is a new game, no doubt. I upped my toughness to 350K and dropped my dps to 165k dps @ 2719 with my aug. Im a tank on Lexington, but I have to be because I'm a pea shooter. I put back on savage gloves so I could actually kill something with my smg. It seems to help. At 400k toughness without savage a whole clip with the aug barely hurt a heavy on lex. The dz is a whole different deal. I've been trying to piece together a new gun combo and I can't seem to get one that works as good as Aug and the 204 scar. A sniper seems to work in place of the scar but it's ttk and the situations to use it seem limited.

Still soloing or duoing everything I could solo/duo before patch. Haven't even changed a single gear item since before 1.2. Game feels exactly the same.
That said...I think there are some latency moments in groups when you just die instantly because some lag means you get hit by a whole bunch of bullets at once.
