Game Update 1.3, now can't load old saves, saves still on hardrive

Hi all, im a ps4 user, me and my girlfriend borrowed far cry primal off of a friend a few months back (feb 2016), played it enjoyed but ultimately had to give it back. So we waited until we could afford it. We bought it today, unfortunately when we loaded the game up it needed to update (to get to the original file size). But wont recognise our old saves, the saves are still on our ps4 we can see them and theyre intact however Primal seems to be creating it as a new game and loading off that, so we have two different profiles for it.

We invested enough time into our old games that we dont want to just have to start again.
Any advice on how to get it to load our other saves? They should have been on the same update so i dont understand why its not working as they arent backwards compatible but should be forwards
    Thanks in advance
    Pedro

    Hello pedropenguin,

Welcome to the forums! Have you submitted a support ticket to troubleshoot this with the technical team yet?

Exact same problem, this is rubbish that i cannot continue my saved game progress.
I sent a ticket in and if no resolution is found i will be seeking a full refund for my purchase cause that's ridiculous.
