What's with the Lone Star LMG bonus?

So for 3 pieces you get +1000 LMG which would be great IF it was in addition to the your other LMG bonuses.

Right now what it's doing is replacing everything and capping it at 1000. Not exactly what it was supposed to do was it?
    WTF?!?

    Yes....WTF, are you complaining about.

The three piece buff is a STRAIGHT UP +1000 damage PER BULLET to both LMG and shotgun pellets. IN ADDITION to the set piece gloves being able to roll additional bonuses for either LMGs or other weapons. I current have two Lone Star gloves with buffs to Marksmen's rifles and ARs.

Where this set really shines is the FOUR piece bonus....simply holstering your weapon reloads it almost instantly. So---as long as you're willing to switch weapons----you need never stop firing or doing damage.

So I'm not really sure what it is you're complaining about.

    Bye.

My main is running fourp-piece Lone Star...and couldnt' be happier.

Never mind the other bonuses. Just never having to stop to reload has made my Agent a LOT more powerful, and a lot more danagerous.

    YMMV.

He's complaining because why is the cap needed? Would it be to much to ask if they could EVER document ANY of this anywhere????? I have defended these incompetent devs at massive for far to long, they make mistake after mistake after mistake. It's almost comical at this point.... Even with no cap the LMG's are still under performing compared to even an AR., so it's not exact;y like this would be game breaking to not have a damage cap on the weapons. What about people that rolled for extra LMG damage?? Did you??

Shaving a whopping 1 second off your reload time to have to switch to a weapon that is not as powerful has made your character a lot more dangerous?

You clearly don't have a good build lol.. LMG's will always be crap until they get a major overhaul.

I have the four piece set and it's pathetic lol.. should be +10,000 LMG dmg then maybe it would be worthwhile. My shotty already 2 hits everything without any damage bonus thanks to either sentry or strikers.

I'm curious where you think shaving a second off your reload would help you out? PVP - nope. PVE - hell no. The entire set either forces you to run a specific weapon loadout or its utterly uesless. Most popular combo is smg/sniper... if I'm fighting someone only 1 of these weapons will be uesful during the engagement nuliifying the need for instant reloads. Swapping your weapon would actually hurt you in that case.

And yes, I know you are an LMG hipster but 99% of the population refuse to use those pea shooters and that's what OP is complaining about. The set was supposed to encourage using other weapons and it fails to do so other than to LMG hipsters lol

It was pretty clear what he was complaining about. The 3 piece bonus overrides other LMG bonuses.
Evidently there is a cap on +LMG damage.
I wonder if the same applies to assault rifles. It would be like ubisoft to put a cap on it as well.

I use SMG/sniper because of stability on SMG, if all weapons have same recoil as SMG people would use different weapons, and developers would finally succeed in what they are hoping for.
