Hey all! First off, thank you all for the welcomes and well wishes! I really appreciate it!

Now on to the bigger topic.

I see a lot of you frustrated and questioning something I said in the intro post. I completely understand your frustration. I'm not going to pretend that there aren't some issues and bugs and that has soured the experience for some of you. Being a community manager is not about faking it till you make it. I realize it is going to take more than words, and is ultimately about what we do, as a team, to ease the situation.

On that front, I can honestly say that the team is working diligently towards squashing any issues that have popped up with 1.2. We have been actively reporting your feedback and working through all this with a mindset of "needs to be done yesterday" and that will not stop.

My statements are truly how I feel. The Division is a massive game (sorry for pun, had to) and the experience has kept me, as a fan, tied to my console at every chance I get. While this is not an excuse, the size and scope of the game has it's challenges and we'll continue to do everything in our power to meet those challenges head on.

Please, understand that I am not saying stop posting as you have in this thread. If anything, post more of your concerns. I am ramping up activity here and genuinely hope we can continue this dialogue so I can do all I can to voice your concerns and better represent you, the community.

Hello Agents.

My name is Mattshotcha and I am joining the Division Team as a Community Manager.

I have a long history with the Tom Clancy universe and a few of you might recognize me from previous Clancy titles. I first got hooked on Clancy games with Ghost Recon Island Thunder back on the original Xbox. Around the time that Ghost Recon Future Soldier launched I had started posting content to YouTube and later streaming. My involvement with content creation and community driven initiatives like the Ghost Recon Community Night events earned me an invite to E3 2013 as a Uplay Ambassador, similar to the Star Player program Ubisoft offers today. It was at that E3 that Tom Clancy’s The Division was revealed and literally blew my mind. I was so in awe of the reveal that when I was being interviewed shortly after, I called the game “The Direction” in a frantic, nervous slip.

(I promise I have since memorized the name.)

Here we are now just after launch. Everything I anticipated from The Division and everything I had hoped it would be has been exceeded in all the best ways. I’m a fan, first and foremost.

You all will be seeing and hearing a lot more from me in the near future and I look forward to working with you, the community, as well as the dev team.

yeah ... i only hope that the game keep is player pool long enough ... i like the game ... but devs screwing all your work as community manager is something you might get used to.

It's not to late to run..
I would have thought that with the appearance of GR: Wildlands coming soon(ish) that you would be spending more time in the Ghost Recon forums and not here..
Seriously - it's still not too late to run other wise you're in for a rough ride with this community..

For those who are continually getting griefed by cowards in dz, in order for the balence to be restored the rogue system needs to be taken off-line for 1 to 2 months to allow those who were griefed a chance to replenish dz funds for blueprints that are desperately needed to level the playing field. The game is going downhill and this may be the only way to save it.
