    DPS and armour broken post patch???

    Hey. Has anyone else noticed since patch 1.2 came out that they are a lot more squishy and it seems to take forever to drop even level 32 enemies now?

    I downloaded the patch yesterday, got online and right away thought my character seems a lot more squishy. before the patch I was 268k dps, 93k health and 65 percent damage mitigation. With that I still never did make it through challenge mode on falcon lost. As for challenge modes I could run them with ease. But now the patch came out and my stats are about the same, "toughness" is 265k, but I am getting demolished now, everything is sooo hard. I tried a new piece of armor as well to see what would happen, it brought my dps to 232k, toughness down to 240k but damage mitigation went up to 71 percent. however that made my character useless, level 25 normal, run of the mill "weak" enemies are dropping me with ease. so this brings me back to my original question. is there something wrong with this patch? has anyone else come across something like this?

    I know there is a list as long as my arm with issues the patch brought with it, from brutally slow map navigation, to blurred vision in menus , to characters going missing to not being able to deconstruct more then one item at a time. but this is a pretty big deal. I have stopped playing until I can figure out what's going on..

    I have heard others say nothing is broken but to be honest, it feels like something is broken in how it is calculated and accounted for. Almost as though the mitigation isn't mitigating anything.

    dps never a thing refer to any dmg you can do

    I personally don't see much of a difference in the 32's. I feel they are roughly the same. Keep in mind the brutal talent was changed. Reckless was changed and sentry was changed. I find damage mitigation is however a bit "wonky". I do take a lot more damage but I feel like because I was using sentry before as well as reckless I was killing much faster than I am now thus before I was taking less damage due to the mobs dying quicker.

    Try and get your Toughness over 250K if you can?

    Toughness (Stamina) a.k.a. Survivability is the name of the game, now. Not DPS... Especially with bugged talents that were erroneously amplifying the damage.

    You will drop DPS, but this is because they are trying to make the game more tactical e.g. you can't just rush into the open and gun down mobs while standing still like pre-1.2.

    Everybody is going to have un-learn the bad habits of launch to 1.2. The game is now like it is advertised. You have to use cover, use your skill power to boost DPS and just think tactically e.g. if there is a mob of bad guys, try and get to an elevated position. Use real life tactics if you can e.g. ambush groups together with fire bombs, flashbangs, fire ammo, etc. Anything to keep them grouped and not moving, so you (and / or your group) can just lay into them while they are on fire, etc.

    I guess it does appear that named mobs do a lot more damage. Other than that, every other mob hits me for the same amount-ish as pre-patch, probably a tad less now.

    I have 183k toughness: 64k health, 68% armor.
