I agree with the unfun thing, but not the elements mentionned in the OP.

I've cleared CS and FL in WT5 challenging yesterday. IIRC I've already done Dragon Nest in challenging too.

FL is almost ok now, quite tedious and somewhat easy for the first 11 waves, the main issue is the drop not being good enough (and you have checkpoints now), the second issue is the medics spam when the support stations are hidden behind the agent turrets spam, but it's still doable with good use of ult'.

I've found sbdy who knew how to do CS in challenging, and to say the least is that the point of this incursion is dumb : spamming support station with life support to walk / die / revive / walk / die / revive. This is pure stupidity. At first I tried to use my D3FNC set to aggro and let the teammates get the fuses, but it doesn't work : the shield get destroyed too fast, and you don't even aggro enough to have the rest of the team plug the fuses.

And not to mention the final room of dragon nest... spamming heal and immunizer station while running to avoid being burn when all the tiles get lite up and getting shot at by snipers at the balcony is unfun.

It's not that it's hard, it's just badly designed. I feels like it's done to either use cheese or get rekt.

The shield actually works really well in CS, that's how I've always ran it with ease.

I'm curious of your strategy, did you try to kite the NPC to let your team do the job (which was my initial plan), or did you stay with them and somewhat tank ? How many of you were running support stations ?

The biggest problem with incursions is because they are pointless now. For the time and effort (including matchmaking to get a full group, since I'm a solo player) it takes to complete an incursion and the rewards from it are just not worth it.

Since they made the end game "loot rain" all over the place, I'd much rather just go in the dz and farm. Wether it be in a group or solo, I'll make just about as much credits and phoenix credits plus gear and I'll also get d-tech and dz credits to go along with it.

Fix the "loot rain" back to how it was in earlier in the game, pre 1.3 and that will draw people back to doing them.

I remember eagerly waiting for my weekly rewards to reset just to do the incursion again. I haven't even touched them since 1.4 (256gs) came out, there's just no point honestly.

Sorry I should have stated it wasn't me running with the shield I was the dps, but every time I've done it we've had a shield guy. Well we did 2 at top and 2 at bottom fuse then stick around the shield guy to clear enemies. We all run support stations and from what I remember the shield guy just tanks as much as possible.

    The incursions are not fun.

I feel they should give you a guaranteed special item when you complete it, whether that be a named weapon and named gear piece. I cant tell you how many times I completed FL only to get the same strikers piece over and over in the early days.

Gotta love it when the mission reward is worse than what you got off a random "red" in the open world. (sarcasm) lol

Dragon's Nest is OK, CS was fun on hard but dreadful on Heroic in 1.3 (you had to pretty much cheese it with a high SP guy) and Falcon Lost is a constant battle versus snoozing.

What I don't understand is why I can watch an enemy run from cover to cover normally, but when I aim at them downsights and fire at them... its like they are the flash, some of my shots don't even register, as they do the flip flop slide to cover...

Earlier today I was working on a bounty and got mobbed by 2 roaming patrols, one of them had a named boss... how in Gods name that I killed everything and still survived is beyond me... thank you Jesus for splitting seeker mines...

But all BS aside, I think some work needs to be done on the AI's movement, sometimes they are just abnormally fast...

They move so fast that any sort of sniping or gear for sniping is basically pointless in the game. You can't even sneak up on them with no threat and throw a grenade at them without them ducking and rolling out of the way. No wonder everyone runs autoaim seekers..... :/
