I feel like the victim of the DZ version of the Purge

I joined a random DZ group.

Upon entering the DZ, the group turns rogue immediately.

Next, the group leader drops the group.

And, he kills us with his friend who was waiting.

He apparently shot his friend, made the group go rogue, and then he and his friend killed us without going rogue themselves.

Just nuts. They probably do this all night to raise their DZ level.

Yeah... a way to grief and level up that is more than likely "totally acceptable" to UBI/Massive so they'll take no action against them...

Like those players that gather together in the DZ to do "solo" one on one fights... reported a youtube video of about 10-15 players doing this... all stand around, 2 in the center to "fight club" fight... one goes down, they heal him, the other guy obviously goes rogue... but they keep on just doing one on one fights...

To me, just another way to game the system and rank up... WHO... in their right mind would go against that large of a group... and even if you do... the entire group is going to gangk you for "interuppting their fun"...

UBI/Massive didn't feel they where breaking any rules after reviewing my report either... they where just "having fun"... by playing the system... glitch out of bounds in the DZ and do this and it's a no no, but gather in a group like that and do it and it's fine... ah well...

need more beer this morning I'm thinking...

Unfortunately the DZ is exactly as UBI/Massive intended it to be that's why they never mention the overwhelming number of calls for change. And all the better gear drops in the DZ with 1.2 update and the addition of extraction point rope cutting is just a lame attempt by them to force those who just want to fight NPC's and grind into PvP fights. Now you will have to stay at the extraction point to defend your loot. Just another attempt to force PvP down our throats. They could have programmed a random NPC to do the same thing but that would not achieve their goal. They have this idea that if they can force players to play PvP they will like it. Now mind you the DZ would be a fantastic place if this was Battlefield 4 or some other shooter. But it's not and players who want to play RPG which they said the game was cant be forced to play PvP. I just wonder at what point in the game development they thought this was a good idea.

To think that this menality is actually being promoted by grown men, at least I assume that's who works at Massive. Those guys on the SOG are just smiling from ear to ear, so I guess they think It's working. Go figure.

well since noone seems to play this versions of cowboy and indians anymore you need to develop new ways to actually have some rogues.. the safehouse camping doesnt work anymore.. the extraction baiting neither so if you want some rogues in shootable distance you have to create them withing your range.. =)

    works perfectly as advertised =D

This is the most pathetic strategy I've heard yet. Not even enough balls to go rogue themselves. But, it's how the game is intended to be player, because anything goes in the DZ. leaving/kicking people from a group needs to immediately send them to the nearest checkpoint in a different server.

The sad thing is the DZ attracts the dregs of the gaming community and this is who they want to play their game. That's just insane in every sense of the word. It's also not logical from a business stand point, but when ego and possibly fear are involved, logic goes out the window most of the time.

I believe the devs are scared to death if they change the DZ, it's not just their egos that might take a hit?

If they change the DZ, it's an admission to UBISoft they f-ed up, but with that comes financial consequences as well as future opportunities (which is also financial, too).

The irony is the DZ is what is causing a lot of players to quit the game regardless, of lack of end-game content.

So, they have only themselves to blame when this game doesn't survive past Summer 2016...
