    Anyone good at Math?

    Hey everyone,

Not so great at Math, so was hoping someone could shed some light on which might be the better weapon.

Recently rolled 2 x 204 Vectors... both had Self Preserved which is a must for me personally, but this is where it got
tricky. Both have fairly useless third stats, but the second stat is interesting. They have identical DPS rolls, but one
has fierce and extra crit hit, totalling a bonus of 11.5 percent. The second has destructive for a bonus 18% armour damage.

So my question for the math wizards out there is.... which one will do more damage? There is a obvious gain to the higher
crit hit weapon for the self heals, but does the armour damage make up for that?

    Your thoughts?

    Hi Frank,

Yeah I see your point, but to be honest... will use the 1 weapon for both PvE and PvP. Don't really
do any PvP unless they shoot first

Then armour is definitely the way to go.

If I am reading correctly you have a choice between 11.5% crit damage or 18% amour damage and are a PVE player. I would go armour all the way. Crit damage has to proc and will give you less damage even when it does. NPCs have strong shields, once those are down they die very fast and the extra crit that you would do won't make much of a difference by then.

    Imho

    Hi Slopat,

Sorry, no it's crit CHANCE of 11.5% extra, compared to 18% extra armour damage. Just as a side note.. once 1.2 hits I'll be running my 3 sentry and 3 striker, and my crit hit DAMAGE bonus will be around 230%, so decent bonus damage.

Ah! Damn, then my math is too weak, especially this early in the morning, lol! Guess it depends where your crit chance stands now, (it's capped at 60%). I think you may simply need to field test these two weapons. Or maybe a math wiz can answer you here.

Yeah, I'm no math wizard, but I don't think its straight forward.

Maybe someone can provide a link to a configurator that takes into consideration the two stats mentioned?
I've looked but cant find any.

    Any help would be appreciated.
