Sick to death of clowns screaming that they have reported me for hacking when infact they are just not very good.
Im getting reported so much mainly because I have a tendency to go against the 4 man groups that like to prey on solo players. They are invaribly just garbage players who need the numerial advantage to succeed. They never hip fire, always walk in straight lines and never ever is the fact they died down to their own fundamental awful playing abilities. I die a fair few times to get them all down but I dont mind wasting xp as i am lvl 99 now and easilyt make it back on their death.
But beside the awful players just being, well awful. They all seem to want to report anyone that kills them. I have seen a few stories of people getting banned due to just the ammount of reports. This cant be true right? Massive made a big deal of always checking out someone has actually cheated before banning them right? Those people are just bitter they got caught?
Massive reviews proof. They don't just ban because someone said so.Originally Posted by Frank_Castle.45 Go to original post
Now you don't really expect cheaters to not lie about cheating do you? Of course they lie their asses off. If they'll cheat they will lie in a heartbeat.
If you have cheated on any way man that's on you but If you haven't don't worry at all.
I got reported, or so I was told, the other night on PS4.
It was a guy in the DZ that I killed like a dozen times, I wasn't hunting him - he just kept coming and aggro-ing my group, he'd die, and then he'd do it again - over and over and over.
Then he reported me - I have about 230k DPS, 95K health, and full armor mitigation - and then there were 3 of us, I'm not sure what this guy was expecting...that he was Rambo?

Correct. if anyone got banned, they WERE cheating. When reports come in, Ubi personally looks at stats and investigates for irregularities. No one was banned unless the logs clearly indicated cheating, which IS easy to prove and see on logs. If you do not cheat, you have absolutely nothing to worry about at allOriginally Posted by Frank_Castle.45 Go to original post![]()
I just love those trash talkers and cool guys that have the guts to be **** while having like 50k hp or ****ty gear. Last time my group ran into the extraction zone with another group, one of them clearly jumped ahead to start the extraction ahead of us (though we were first at the spot), and then started talking **** with his band members, like if they try we gotta shoot them in the face blabla, then we started clearing the site and they did nothing, except saying "oh yeah, great, let them clear it for us". I pm-ed my group that if they try to extract, im gonna blow them down. Right, they did try to, like nothing was wrong, and i shot two of them only to hear "oh why would you do that??" and the others left alive were like "oh let us extract, we're not shooting you, let us extract!". Needless to say all of them got wasted right there. I mean if you're being an *******, at least gear up first?Originally Posted by Overtkill21 Go to original post
the proper method is to record someone, upload to youtube, then open a support ticket as it says. i never use /report.Originally Posted by Frank_Castle.45 Go to original post
infact ive only ever raised a ticket against 1 person, soon to be 2 as you just reminded me.
if massive are not even looking at hte person playing, then the system for banning cheats is still fundamentally flawed.
You have never seen a true story that someone got banned due to the number of reports. Hamish, the guy who appears the most often on the official stream, constantly talks about people reporting him thousands of times.Originally Posted by Frank_Castle.45 Go to original post
There certainly are false positives (Because Massive never misses a chance to **** up), but they are not related to simply being reported a certain number of times.
