I searched through all the threads, and only saw a few small mentions of the HUD. What are everyone's thoughts about it? What did you senior fans experience on your trip to Paris concerning the HUD?

Personally, I am not a fan of the HUD. Especially if it takes up half my screen. In fact, I like it basically nonexistent. I would prefer they make players pull up a map or GPS on an iPad or something to navigate. Leave out the radar in the corner of the screen that shows highlights of enemy locations. Make us feel out the environment to locate nearby enemies. I also prefer they do not have an inventory count (grenades, ammo, etc.) in the HUD. In an actual gunfight the adrenaline is pumping so fast you actually think only a few shots were fired, when really you unloaded an entire mag. Make players pull up their inventory if they want to know the count.

Give players the incentive to practice drills and controls prior to actually starting the game, so they don't need to be given hints via the HUD on what buttons to push. Lastly, the thing I hate the most is those stupid player name indicators above your teammates' heads or enemy NPCs. Nothing is more distracting than that! I know who is who on my four-person team. If I accidentally shoot them because I got tunnel vision or wasn't paying attention to my surroundings, then thats should be on me (ALLOW FRIENDLY FIRE). I'm okay with tagging enemies via a drone or some handheld gadget that you can equip. But require NVGs or google glasses (joke) or something to see the indicators. And keep it simple - no outlines of enemies behind walls like in Future Soldier.

Just my opinion.
