i mean ... "Special Report" talked about 1.2 being more balanced for 0-160 and 160-200 bracket, but nobody yet said nothing about the well known "glitch" to enter dz 0-160 with a full 220 GS .
now, i read also the article that explain a bit how the loot is going to be in the next patch and i can see that you can still have everythig in the low 0-160 bracket ... so why should i go in the risky 201+ and waste time and ammo if i still can go with my overpowered gear and destroy everything in half a clip and couple seconds ...
Here again the question:
Is the well know "glitch" going to be fixed or "is it working as inteded"? ... let please us know for sure (mean devs answer) so that we can prepare at best for this patch. thanks.
well i really want to know for sure, cause i have one character that want to be the best possible gear for the lowest possible bracket ... obvious reason for this is this is going to be my "PvP" Char ... and i want the best possible gear ... and in order to do this i need to know if it is considered as glitch by the devs or if it work as intended ...
i already have a good 160 gear with 3 weapon ... but should i improve with a full gear set and 1 weapon only ?
combating this are loot caches from all AI. these drop more DZ funds, as seen in game play video where they were getting between 4 - 5k dz funds per cache. so no need to hit lower level mooks for funds. and you get more XP from a higher DZ Ranked person anyway. in theory this should alleviate the situation some what.Originally Posted by NitroMidgets Go to original post
that and the higher scaling of loot in the higher DZ brackets.
I've de-geared to get under the cap to play with a friend who was complaining about high level DZ players farming in the lower bracket. I was surprised how bad it was. They weren't picking up any loot. They'd attack everyone though. NPC's, bosses, solo players, squads of any make up they didn't care as long as it meant easy xp and funds. They don't want the higher reward in the upper bracket because it has more risk. Sure, they are also likely just a bunch of *******s who wanted an excuse to bully people but that is the best I could get from their actions. When they run across another geared up player getting around the restrictions they fall back and run when Rogue. Can't blame them. Attacking only when you have the advantage was one of the key ideas in the Art of War. I used another tactic which was to pretend to be weak when you are not.
