It feels like 9 times out of 10 my encounters with other agents in the DZ results in them trying to kill me, and a lot of times they succeed because it's always a full team of rogues. I'm about to just equip some lower gear that'll drop my GS down so I can go into the lower brackets and hopefully play with some more civilized people.
This video basically sums up how I feel when venturing into the DZ by myself...
Because there are so many scumbags in the world. That's just people.
But seriously, I recommend using the matchmaking for the DZ. Its much safer and more productive when you are running around in a squad of 4. I mostly soloed the DZ up to about a week or so ago and then I decided to try the matchmaking. The DZ is now much more fun for me.
Enter the Dark Zone, a walled-off quarantine zone in the middle of Manhattan where the most valuable loot was left behind when the military evacuated. It’s also the most dangerous area in the game, where fear, betrayal, and tension are high. Team up with other players to take down your enemies and extract legendary loot via helicopter. It’s your choice to collaborate with other agents, or attack them and steal their loot.
Straight from the Steam store description.
*most valuable loot*
*fear, betrayal, tension*
*team up*
*collaborate... or attack... steal their loot*
The game is a reflection of society. The reason it's more prevalent in the game, is because there are zero world consequences. However, most rogues would act like this in real life if they could get away with it.
Oh yeah...and dropping your score down won't take you to a more civilized version of the DZ. The very scumbags you speak of, have already done that so they can troll people at the lower brackets.
Exactly what I was going to say, thank you.Originally Posted by Crott117 Go to original post
That's the world we live in. Believe it or not, if you could actually talk to the rogues doing it, most of the time they're nice people just having fun. There isn't much to do in this game at the moment, so you see a lot of people going rogue for fun. Or, they're trying to build their manhunt status to gain xp. That being said, I, as well as many others have run into a lot of ****** bags who just kill you to grief. Sitting outside checkpoints, shooting you while your back is turned, etc. If I'm running solo, I just steer clear of rogues and use conceal pulse a lot.Originally Posted by BreakingBad1988 Go to original post
