    SOTG 19 May - LIVE blog

    Stay tuned,.. I'll update this topic every minute

    - Specials 1.2 report, today @ 7pm CET with Gabe playing live. thats 1pm EST (or 10am PST, or 5AM New Zealand time)
    - Yannick and Hamish on SOTG
    - Banned hackers are back. 1st wave of Permabans is underway as we speak
    - Shwoing the conflict trailer again..
    - Not much on todays SOTG since special report on 1.2 tonight.
    - Yannicks mic is broken... no idea what he says.Something with assignements.. and more vanity items.
    - Stash size: Looking in to increasing. Not right now. Every slot is actually 7 slots (1 weapon, 6 mods). The extra traffic and memory on servers is something they cant handle right now. Needs a client update as well. Perhaps the update after 1.2 (Underground DLC or 1.3)
    - And for the 500 backpack used in testing and showed on screenshots: No

    - Stash will be available in DZ Checkpoints in 1.2!!!
    - LVL34 shotgunners and snipers are nerfed.
    - Hijack ropes. As soon as he starts cutting, he gets rogue status. Takes 6 seconds to cut. Cutter is very very easy target.
    - Scavenging is reworked. More info tonight.
    - NPC speech in BOO is reduced.
    - Toggle aim
    - Rebind the ALT key

    Stash boxes are being added to Darkzone checkpoints, that's gonna save a hell of a lot of time

    90 second rogue status for successful cutting of ropes at extractions

    They started at 11:40 CET. It was a short version as there is something tonight at 7pm CET in which they'll go more into detail regarding 1.2

    What they did talk about was mostly good stuff. It shows they are listening and implementing changes. I specially like (as in I REALLY like), the ability to access the Stash at checkpoints. It's a nice quality of life thing that'll make LFG runs in the DZ way more productive in terms of extracted items AND not having groups disperse after the third extraction. LIKE.

    They talked about stash size, permabans, rogue rope cutting ... Quite a bit in only 15 or so mins! Biggie is tonight at 7pm CET where they'll feed a lot more info apparently.

    I give today's SOTG

    Especially liked the part of the second ban wave and the monitoring measures of cheaters. (hacker writes, cheater use, script kids use)
    You stay at it, take the PC arena back for us, ban by ban.

    Also,
    Looking forward to watch the "Special Report" tonight.

    He was saying that the ISAC weekly assignment will now be a new separate weekly assignment that will reward exclusive vanity items

    EDIT: The other big thing not mentioned in the OP is they are increasing the knockback effect when you get shot whilst trying to do something like attach you stash to the rope or cut the rope or open a supply drop. You can no longer just run in there and do it. Hits from enemies will give a knockback effect, increasing the timer for doing what your doing. This will make cutting the rope very difficult to achieve by the sounds of things. I assume this will include attaching the bomb to the APC in FL too, so now both turrets will have to be disabled to do it.

    Sounds like even with Survivor Link, getting hit interrupts the rope-cutting progress so you have to start again.
