I just bought AC: Identity for Android on my Nexus 7 (2013). This is going to be the first time in a while that I've gotten back into Android for gaming. (Sorry, PS4 and PC Master Race card-carrying member here.) I really would prefer to play this with a controller instead of the on-screen controls, which appear to be a bit messy at best. I have one of the old, old MOGA controllers, but AC:I doesn't detect it even when the MOGA Pivot app does see it.
Is the controller aspect restricted to setups like NVIDIA Shield tablet? Is there a controller that will work with AC:I on a Nexus 7?
if there's no controller support I wont' even be buying it.... I suck with on screen swiping controls that I don't realize I'm not even hitting the right spot half the time... that is if I can ever even play it.
Apparently a Galaxy Tab 4 10.1" isn't good enough.... *cough*. I couldn't even find the game w/o using my laptop to search google Play store. It said all my devices are incompatible. It said it needs Android 4.1 at least.... My tablet has 5.0.2...... seriously Ubisoft?
It *does* have controller support. It's listed right there in the options menu within the game, but apparently it requires specific controllers or environments because it won't acknowledge my old MOGA controller. Looks like it might -- and I stress might -- be restricted to something like the NVIDIA Shield Tablet controller.
I just bought the game and ordered a HID Gamepad for my phone. It connects and I can barely control the game like this. The only thing that works is walking. All the other stuff that's listed in the options isn't working...
I got a Huawei P9 with the newest Android Version :/ And I'd really want to play this with a controller :C
Does anyone know if there is a different type of controller that would maybe work? Or is my phone the problem? Maybe the game is also not working correctly :/
I also have the exact same issue on this game. Only walking is working using my ipega gamepad, which normally works well with other cintroller supported games. Did you find a solution?Originally Posted by AlphaScharf Go to original post
