Nah, that's just silly. Maybe if you're non hostile and die from a npc.
After I hit level 75 and bought the m1a, really stopped caring about funds. Now I'm tring to step my pvp game up and now I'm going after more rogues.
What's the point if there is no risk or rewards?

As a rogue player, I don't really mind this, except that you should lose your keys. Also, if you stop dropping credits, they should boost the credit gain on completing a rogue run. Probably would be nice to reduce xp loss for us as well if they are taking it away from you all. Not by much, but still give the incentive to go rogue.

Lose the exp loss, keep everything else the same.

I would laugh if they did this though because the "hardcore" crowd would be going ape ****.

I must say that as long as players keep dropping something in abundance, they will be farmed for it.

Items are one go, but Xp, Funds and keys, are not.
Si i really think they should not drop from a neutral player.
They will still drop from Rogues players, so they can attack each-other to get some.

Also, some key could be given as a reward for surving the Rogue Timer.

I'll add this in a tiny summary in the OP.

As much as it would benefit me personally (usually solo in DZ) to no longer lose xp/credit/keys when getting jacked by a pack of rogues, it would ruin the purpose of the DZ, which is to truly be a wild-wild west where ANYTHING and EVERYTHING goes.

What they need to do, is undo the incredibly diminished penalty for being killed as a rogue so people actually think twice and thrice about it. Perhaps it should not be as punishing as it was originally, but the current roughly 2x multiplier (2x the xp loss of dying as lvl1 rogue vs a non-hostile) is not nearly punishing enough.

TLDR; there isn't enough reason NOT to go rogue anymore, so the penalty isn't stopping anyone.

Normally i would saw you are a DZ coward!!

But this is actually a really fair and sensible thing to do.

I understand that as a Rogue player, you don't want to loose what you already have.

But you already have rewards by going Rogue and managing to get a kill : the items of your victim and xp/credits if your survive the timer.
I consider it to be a nice reward already. Rewards could be upped a bit for compensation, but i already stated this in the OP :-)

I think they should remove the xp penalty, but I'm fine with losing credits and keys.

I bounced this idea around with my friends. Im a very hard core PVPer in every game i play so the xp loss to me seems small and doesn't really bother me. At the same time i can see how its very frustrating for a casual PVPer to lose xp. Personally i do think it would be a good addition for several reasons
1). No penalty for dieting to rogues means a lot more frighting for rogues (which i would enjoy). For instance when I'm solo and die to a 4 man group i would love to give them some more action by trying to solo them a few times but at most i will give it 1 shot so I'm not throwing xp away. By removing the xp loss i would be happy getting killed all night just to pick up a few kills while solo. This would increase fun for rogue groups as well
2). Those that aren't into PVP or are not very good at it have less frustration
3). The DZ becomes more of a xp/ credit gain for the entire community closing the gear gap and leading to better fights
    The only downside is
    1) the game has a loss when it come to that risk/ reward feeling. They would need to up how good DZ gear is so that the loss of gear is actually felt so that the feeling of risk/ reward is not lost

All together i do feel it would be a good edition for the entire community as a hole with little at risk for the game.

I voted No because I want them to increase XP and DZ credit gain from killing NPC enemies, rather than your suggestion. It's unlikely they will do both. It would be great if they did, but I don't see that happening. When we're ranking up faster, and getting rich faster, those losses upon death won't be as painful. And I think there are more benefits to the whole community by increasing xp and credit gains instead of removing the loss on death.
