I understand where this guy is coming from.... It can be pretty frustrating trying to farm DZ credits when the risk of losing is much higher than gaining. Cause the gaining is not guaranteed but the losing is. Sometimes I go into the DZ and the NPC drop funds like crazy and other times they don't drop any at all. I've done runs where I didn't get any fund drops, just some div tech or ammo drops. Then get jumped by a mob of players and lose a good 2260 dz funds. Is it me or did that get double cause I could've swore I used to only lose about 1116 dz funds before. Sorry I digress.... I just think they should just incorporate more ways to get dz funds. Maybe add them to the supply drops instead of Phoenix credits. Maybe killing the named bosses give you 2000 dz funds. I'm sure I'll get hated on... Someone will say there is other ways, go rogue or kill rogues. Sorry it's just not my style!!!!!
It's unreal the work you have to go through to get credits in the DZ. Only a fraction of the NPC's even drop credits, and when they do, it's a paltry amount. The chests/trunks usually give you a good bit, as do the supply drops. However, every time you get ganked by a rogue you lose about 15x what you pick up from a single DZ credit drop. The problem is, with only 1 in 6 or 7 baddies even dropping credits, you just lost 90-105 killed NPC's worth of credits in one death. The struggle is real in the DZ when it comes to the time and effort it takes to amass credits vs. the 2 seconds it takes to lose them all. I don't even give a **** about the XP (I'll get there when I get there) or the gear (who cares that you're losing fabric and f'ing weapon parts, you can get those outside the DZ)?
What I really don't understand is why don't the funds just go straight into your character instead of having to run over the dead NPC bodies to pick them up. Why do going rouge have such a better return as when your timer is up you not only get the Xp but also the funds goes directly into your character. Also why is it that when you are in a group and taking out NPC the funds drops randomaly for each player but when it comes to destroying a rouge or a player not everyone gets a piece of that funds but whomever gets there first gets it? Don't get me wrong I like being on both side as a non hostile and rouge but the way the funds drops and the way how you collect makes no sense. I feel bad for those that are struggling as I was once in that shoe.
You don't want to go rogue, because "it isn't your style". So it sounds like gaining credits isn't your style either. You're welcome to do it your style, but don't complain about the result. You know how to get credits. You just don't want to do it.Originally Posted by DLexFactor22 Go to original post
Gaining credits in the DZ, is easy. I tend to keep around 1.5 - 2 million DZ credits at any given time. When the restock happens, I buy what I want without worrying about the cost . How? By going rogue. One survived rank 1 rogue pays me 5500 credits after just 89 seconds. Just to get that much exp from killing NPC's, I'd have to kill 30-40. To get that much in DZ funds, I'd have to kill AT LEAST twice that amount. Bear in mind, that's not even counting the funds I pick up from the guy I killed going rogue. In short, in 30 minutes, I can amass in DZ funds, what it might take days to get by killing NPC's. If someone kills me, I don't care. That doesn't even put the slightest dent in my funds.Originally Posted by Three Snowshoes Go to original post

if by that you mean he doesn't want to go rogue and ruin someone else day just to get some DZ credits then yeah I can fully see his point. You may enjoy going rogue and stealing credits from people who are no threat and just farming but not everyone does.Originally Posted by mysterioustko Go to original post
This is exactly why so many people have left this game.Originally Posted by mysterioustko Go to original post
Having an area where the strong prey on the weak and get even stronger while making the weak even weaker is a recipe for disaster and this game has shown that.
Why they thought it was a good idea to make it possible for people to go backwards in XP and DZ currency just for the crime of wandering into a zone with active gankers is anyone's guess but whatever they were thinking this experiment is failing and failing fast.
I was the last of my friends to quit this game and it's a shame it's been run into the ground so badly but the cheats and gankers have won and the soul crushing RNG and lack of ability to advance for legit solo play make this a sad end to a game full of promise.
That's fine... but then, he should be content with the results of the choices he makes. Complaining about your choice not giving you what you want, makes no sense.Originally Posted by Regis555 Go to original post
