Did you stop playing before or after the 1.1 patch?Originally Posted by LiTt_Faded Go to original post
If you stopped after 1.1, the game has not gotten better.
If you stopped playing before 1.1, the game has gotten worse.

* If you stopped playing because of the hackers then it is better, the reduction in cheating in the DZ is noticeably less
* If you stopped playing because of the griefers then it is ten times worse, the lack of endgame content seems to have turned everyone into OP rogues who troll about in groups of 8
* If you stopped playing because there is nothing to do outside the DZ then nothing has changed.
* If you stopped playing because the RNG is annoying then nothing has changed.
With your gear score of 50 you'll be in for a torrid time if you download it now.......people will avoid you like the plague.Originally Posted by LiTt_Faded Go to original post
1.1 really made if much harder to get good gear and while Ubisoft keeps saying they do not want Crafting to be the only way to get good gear.... It is the only way as most if all drops are crap. Getting greens and whites when you are level 30 almost not worth the space in the backpack.
The DarkZone is better during the week...almost no one is in there so the roving bands of level 90 BZ rogues running in pack in DZ01-03 are not as great and can be avoided.
Once you get to the endgame it is really poorly thought out, just an exercise in farming no other function just getting gear, disassembling and waiting for good Blueprints which Ubisoft holds back like they are gold. They did server work last week and now it seems less stable than before on PC.
The solo game still is not bad, its just like many other games developers there was a big vision and promises for a game that you can play for months or years but in reality the time, cost and effort to maintain the post story line game is a failure. They promise to put some improvements in 1.2 and the DLC is supposed to come soon but if it is as filled with flaws as Incursion the game will die.
Falcon Lost had so many glitches that by the time they fixed them you had a group of players who used the glitches to get all the sets and are now completely OP. Not the players fault just slow response by Ubisoft.
Just like Destiny when you get a game with a huge day one hype and sales there are a ton of people that find all the flaws, make use of them and then skew the game. The surprising thing is this game and a pretty extensive closed and open beta and with all that input they did not seem to fix the fundamental flaws/glitches.
All that being said if you want a fun solo story game this is good for about 100-150 hours to finish the story line.
