-they need to remove the penalties for dying from PvPing if the developers want more people to do it
(and it remove much of the frustration newbies/casuals get from being ganked & griefed)
    because
it drives away casuals/newbies when they see their XP or currency go down & they're going backwards instead of progressing despite the time they've spent (or 'wasted')

BTW, Blade & Soul SUCCESSFULLY launched in US, EU, & Asia -they have millions of active players

Warfame also launched .. they have over 4+ million players also last I heard on all platforms

They are doing successfully (they are free to play but have a cash shop --interestingly, a developer remarked how 2% of their playerbase buys from the cash shop, which funds their further DLC,updates) despite being Korean grind or US grind games

Regardless, ALL successful MMO games from Gulid Wars series (millions sold & active) to Blade & Soul to StarWars have NO penalty from dying in PvP -they only give rewards to encourage it
If you think that Blade and Soul still have the milion active players then you are very wrong. I sometimes browse the forums there and let me quote a few:

"Well NCSoft can expect me to ask them for a refund on the year premium membership I bought if the hackers keep this pvp game unplayable in the new patch."

"You can expect pvp to continue to be a joke"

Go check the general discussion. Bots, Spammers, pay to win and annoyed people all over the place. Sorry to pop that bubble for you...

When it comes to Warframe I dont know how much players play it, but they are out quite abit compared to Blade and Soul or Division. All i remember is that their start was very bumpy aswell...

If you can provide some legit stats then I will believe you, but 4+ milion accounts doesnt mean they all play too. I have an account too! Quite after few hours since for some reasons I kept on getting DCed and the gameplay didnt fit me.

On steam Warframe has Last 30 Days averaging at 26,228 which is... I dont know... Quite lower then one would expect considering the 4mil + as you mentioned.

It punishes people for not having a full group.

It forces rogue groups, who even in a full group, may have 20 players chasing them to also fight NPCs.
It allows non-rogue players to area deny Rogues from killing NPCs, even if the player is not good enough to directly fight the rogues.
It taxes the rogues, who already have limited resources, to make sure they have enough to also fight some arbitrary number of enemies.
It allows a system which can force me to play as a Rogue for (What do you think is fair on this timer scale? Hours? Days?) massive amounts of time. Killing 5 people already gives me a minimum of 5 minutes, which can be delayed indefinitely by things shooting me.

Do not assume that your idea is so amazing that anyone who does not agree does not understand. Anyone who understands your idea should tell you it is terrible. This is a thinly veiled plea to punish rogues because you do not like them killing you.
So basically you don't like the idea because it would give non-rogue players an opportunity to make things more difficult fo rogue players? I guess griefing is only fun until it happens to you.

If I go manhunt while solo, it is 23 vs 1 for a minimum of 5 minute and I lose 17,000 xp and 11,000 credits if I die. How much more difficult does it need to be?

Do not condense my argument into a strawman and then try to argue that. My post was quite clear. This disaster of a suggestion would severely punish rogues for merely existing, not "balance" pvp in any way.

Hmm, from what I currently see in the DZ, it might be more like 23 rogues vs a single player. ;-) Something has to change in the DZ as way more more rogues than non-hostiles. When I use to group up with players, after the patch 1.1, first suggest ion was "Let's go rogue, fastest way to rank up". I see players who play rogue make the same comments here in the forums as to why they go rogue. Sounds like something is broken and not balanced other wise I would see a more even approach to leveling in the DZ with both hostile and non-hostile players. The DZ has totally swung in the other direction since that patch.

Even if that were true, those rogues are not all working together. Rogues will almost always shoot other rogues for points.

according to industry experts & marketing/sales data from NPD &IDSA ,
    Steam accounts
for about 60% to 75% of all online game sales
    &
15% of the entire PC global software game sales.

    Steam app source link below:

Warframe on Steam has 7+ million players now,
    with
590,000+ playing within the past 2 weeks for an average of 13.53 minutes (1 or 2 missions),
    a daily average of
26,000 to 32,000 players playing concurrently at the same time last week
    ranked #11
    despite
being almost 3 YEARS OLD with
2.2% buy something each month in it's cash shop ..
    while
    Division
dropped rank to #24 on Steam (it used to be #1 on Xbox1, dropped to #7)
    &
    had only
220,000 play within the past 2 weeks
    &
dropping to 7,000 to 13,000 playing concurrently at the same time last week

Players chart of top Steam Games --you want Peak Players Today within 24 Hrs (NOT current since means at the time you visited the site, which varies hugely depending on if you visit at 4am, 8 am, 12pm, or 8pm) http://store.steampowered.com/stats/

PS4 has 7+ million Warframe players & it's regularly ranks in the top 10 most played games on PS4, with 4.4% players buying something from the cash shop each month & #1 free-to-play game on PS4 & was #3 in Nov 2015 http://www.dualshockers.com/2014/03/...o-play-market/

Warframe vs Division concurrent player numbers on Steam -Warframe has peaks & valleys but it's constantly growing above launch numbers, meaning player satisfaction & good worth of mouth that keeps players .. Division has a huge spike on launch, then dies to 33% to 50% of Warframe's numbers

http://steamcharts.com/app/230410 -reading the chart, avg daily players in the past month is more important -

-or the 'peak 24 hours' means peak players within the past 24 hours.. current players isn't accurate since it just means the current players at the current time YOU visited the website, which will be lower at 4am for example

--so you want peak players for the past 24 hrs instead or the monthly/weekly average of concurrent users

Division has 760,000 players on Steam now w/

    Division on Stteam http://steamspy.com/app/365590

    Players total: 760,555 ± 36,735 (98.26%)

    Players in the last 2 weeks: 233,874 ± 20,388 (30.22%)

    Peak concurrent players yesterday: 13,141

    =====

Playtime in the last 2 weeks: 16:02 (average) 04:14 (median)

Playtime total: 76:20 (average) 49:20 (median)
    ==========================================

    WarFrame's http://steamspy.com/app/230410

    Players total: 7,002,300 ± 110,308 (59.91%)

    Players in the last 2 weeks: 590,254 ± 32,371 (5.05%)

    Peak concurrent players yesterday: 32,533

Playtime in the last 2 weeks: 13:53 (average) 03:03 (median)

Playtime total: 68:18 (average) 04:58 (median)

Their ~20,000-32,000 average daily players (varies up to 33,000) has been consistent on Steam

LonigusEze, Blade & Soul launched in China in 2013 & got 18 million players with 1.8 million playing online at once concurrently (world record)
    http://mmoculture.com/2013/12/blade-...er-of-players/

Blade & Soul launched in US/EU in Jan 2016 with 1 million players & then grew to 2 million active players after 1 month in Feb 2016
http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/02/...illion-players (they had to add more servers)

.. whereas in the Division LOST players after a month

LMFAO! You only drop that if your on your main character. Every Man Hunt I've ever killed, dropped less than 1k & 0 keys. Was only good for the exp. Run the lv14 DZ. 99% of those aholes are alt chars who don't care if they die, & are there just to grief people trying to level.

Again, last night, log into server. Exit door & got instagib'd. Respawn, open map to see how many Rogues, and seen over 14 red heads on the map & 2 manhunts. It's just asinine how many as*hats there are.

What's worse, it's hard as hell to get a server change when I play, no friends to jump to, & being super late @ night, only 1 server is running.

So again, had to log out, due to the as*hats running rampant.

Getting old fast. No Dz levels in 3 days now....no creds, no keys, & down 2 levels....Was so close to DZ 50......Ty As*hats! NOT!!!

LOL, that's the FIRST TIME EVER I posted those links about Warframe, Blade & Soul stats that LonigusEze ASKED FOR ..

so he & others who posted their questions or appreciation obviously do care.. you lack reading comprehension?

Oh, that's right, you like to lie, make false accusations & false claims as others have caught you doing so in other threads (such as "You do not have a single shred of evidence that even one player quit because of the PVP situation"
when links were provided showing just that.

Not reading those provided links does NOT excuse your lies or false claims).

If you don't wish to read my previous posts, skip it but don't make false claims or lie about it
