    Side Quests: I'm missing something.

While out wandering around, there's a number of side quests you can accept, such as "my friends have been captured and taken to XYZ, rescue them for me Takkar". These quests show up as orange icons on the map, and involve approaching a Wenja, interacting, then accepting the quest. Problem is, I have no clue as to where to go once the quest is accepted. Nothing additional appears on the map, nor is there any sort of marker on the mini-map or HUD.

    What am I missing here?

    Thanks.

When you activate a side mission, instead of activating right away, it appears as a side mission somewhere else on the map. If it's your first time activating that side mission, it will have a small question mark. If you've activated it, it will show up somewhere else on the map without a question mark.

I don't really know why they did this, it's very confusing and ****ing weird to do but they thought it would be a good idea for some unexplained reason.

OK, I think I know what you're saying now. I activated one, then quite some distance away, an orange hand icon appeared with no question mark and it seemed to be the one I activated just prior. Kinda odd and somewhat confusing.

I guess the way to look at it is, after you activate, look on the map somewhere relatively nearby for the non-question mark icon and that's the one ???

Also, is it just me or are the sting bombs kinda overkill ( pun intended ) ?

Some of the heavys that seem to kick my *** and take any number of whacks with a good club and keep coming ... seem to crumble under a sting bomb. Hey, I guess if it works

Yes, if it's the nearby symbol without the question mark that's the one you just activated.

And I find the berserk bomb to be a little more overpowered; many times I've taken out entire outposts just by using 2-3 berserk bombs. The sting ones are powerful too...might as well use them to our advantage!
