now this really annoys me, 2 weeks ago on state of the game, you reassure us no nerfs just buffs, then a week later, you casually tells us you making my sentry's build useless WTF, i use AR and SMG with sentry's, i spent hours getting and rolling sentry's gear, i spent a s hit ton of credits, rolling stuff, NOW MY BUILDS F ucked. I was looking forward to patch 1.2, but it seems your just making the game harder, just think all the things they took away in 1.2, its going to make the game alot harder, no reckless, balanced,brutal (nerf ) and of course sentry's.......................................... ..........honestly you should tell us when things are not working as intended, has soon as you know, not let us farm for a month, to get future nerfed gear,I WANT A S HIT TON OF MATERIALS, OR I WANT TO BE ABLE TO ROLL ALL MY SENTRY'S GEAR AGAIN.

Once upon a time there was an mmo that had a particular class that could cast a 'debuff' that lowered dexterity but due to a bug it was lowering the dexterity of non-player controlled enemies by hundreds of points which made it 100% impossible for any monster to hit the player. People rushed to take advantage of this and when it was fixed, they cried about the nerf but were told that the skill was never supposed to work like that.
Now, do you seriously think you're supposed to apply a massive damage increase to enemies three times in less than one second? Did you really think that was how it was supposed to work?
My only concern has already been addressed. I needed that ridiculous damage boost to take down level 34 shotgun enemies, and they are supposedly being adjusted to not be instant death to high hp full armor characters, and we're getting more armor. This will also mean fights in the Darkzone might actually be fire fights and not 'first one to spray half a clip with Sentry wins'

Uhm .. nothing was nerfed. Stuff was BROKEN ... and they FIXED it ... Seriously, you people cry like little babies that the game is broken and then when they FIX the bloody thing you cry harder. PICK one ... either you want the game fixed or you don't.
Me? I want the game fixed, and I have been lobbying for these fixes for a while, and they are doing them, so as a player that wants things NOT to be broken and stupidly OP and unbalanced, I am a happy camper.
Yeah and SMG/DMR damage is largely broken if you compare it to all the other weapons, so if they reduce SMG damage by 90% and call that a fix would that be OK ? Calling it a fix is basically a wildcard to do anything they want.Originally Posted by Faelandaea Go to original post

A good pulse does that for almost double what sentry did AND crit chance too.
Add smart cover and you are at 3 times what sentry is capable of. Sentry isn't that op. Plenty of stuff in the game gives you lots more damage and you don't even have to aim. Just push a button and debuff everyone in range.
