It is NOT new, and historical data proves this kind of game mode KILLS most games. The Devs sold this game to the bean counters on the premise it "is" new because CFOs and CEOs are not gamers, so they probably thought it was new... to them.Originally Posted by Force58 Go to original post
Yes I did ask that question. I've been 99 for a about 3 weeks now yes, but I also was level 47 once. Between 47 and 99 nothing has changed. I leveled up to 99 by going rogue and killing rogues. I still do that.Originally Posted by Force58 Go to original post
Go rogue preferably at least in a 2 man team if you got good gear, if not, get a 4 man team. And ofc kill rogues, from what I can tell you don't have the gear for that then farm incursion for easy gear upgrades.
Only level 75 blueprints are worth going for, which you can even reach by killing mobs and not going rogue cuz dieing while not rogue makes you lose minimal amount of exp...
If you want those HE's (god knows why), then why don't YOU kill someone who is extracting ? DZ is a dangerous place buddy, no room for nice guys, that's why I'm working with millions of DZ funds and hundreds of keys. Kill or be killed. It's the best part about this game. When I watched videos about this game the hype was around DZ and PvP, **** knows what pulled you into this game lol.
Also why do you do the weekly missions ? WHY ? 30 phoenix credits lol, that's actually NOTHING.
Mind blown.
PS4 last night. Log in, clean out box, & head to Z. Well, no friends on, since they all quit. So I go to Z3. Enter, pulse, & bam, 16 red heads start blinking all over Z1/2 & right down by the Safe House in Z3. Turn right around & log out. Wait 10 min. Relog. Exit Z3 Safe House & get instagib'd. Respawn, open map & all I see is 3 man hunts & ton's of red heads. DAMN, got the same f*cking server. Log out for the night.
This is happening more & more. My "time" to play has so many Rogues that it's not worth the effort.
Great job as*hats. You have killed the game. Pretty soon you will just be killing each other over & over.
Cya!
@Fastford
And all the 'mature' players run around killing mobs in a 4 man team and hugging each other for no rewards or challenge whatsoever ?
As some idiot I met called leveling in DZ by killing NPC's the 'legitimate' way of playing the game.
Posts like these worry me that these devs will actually listen and ruin the best part about this game.
If you don't like the way DZ is then why play this game ? A single player game would be more suited for you.
In DZ I meet people with your gearscore ALL the time, and if I'm not paying attention, or if I go in too cocky I will die.Originally Posted by Force58 Go to original post
And you can definitely farm the hard mode incursion no doubt about that lol. When you got some set items reroll the right stats/min-max your gear and you're good. I don't see the problem.
You even said it youself, you will start hunting other players when you get better gear. Either you don't play as much as me/other rogues or you got the game recently, well I do have decent gear and I feel comfortable taking on full groups alone if they are not organized. I'm sure you would do that as well. So don't blame us if we managed to get good gear by putting more hours in and going rogue every now and then.
When I get ganked I get excited and respawn asap to hunt them down. Sometimes I talk **** to a team to make them kill me and go rogue so I can hunt them down and kill every single one of them (or at least try to). That's just me though.
GL
lol You're kidding, right? What's the alternative to lone wolfing? The dumb suggestion that you use the matchmaker to find a team? A team that can, and increasingly more lately, HAS been kicking people from the group and instantaneously killing them? lol Yeah. But better solution. Well done.Originally Posted by LepantoESP Go to original post
I even had people fromt his very forum respond to a post I made in the thread for finding teammates. I got invited to their game, and they did the same thing. Couldn't name and shame them though. Just know that looking for teammates even within this forum has just as much opportunity to link you up with ballsacks as it does players who want to help one another.
I don't think anyone's blaming you. I think people are frusrated because some people have full time jobs. Wives. Kids. Other meaningful advocations. They can't spend all the live long f'ing day playing this game like some people that either have no job, are incapacitated, or no life outside of their job other than to beat this game over the head with a hammer. What people want, is for you uber users that can devote the majority of your waking hours to play with one another who are in the same boat and want to do the same thing.Originally Posted by magic1anz. We want to be competitive, which we cannot do because we can't "devote" the time to the game that some of you machines do. Everyone has a right to enjoy a game, and its the developers job to make sure that the entirety of its player base gets its money worth. Their future sales depend on it.
No ones asking the people that love the rogue component to give up their game. We're just asking for a different mode to play in. Games like CoD have regular modes, hardcore modes, cap the flag, etc. There's something for everyone. None of the hardcore players gripe that there's a regular team death match. Or a regular free for all. Everyone gets an environment suited for them.
The ONLY reason the PvP'ers are vehemently opposed to having a portion of the game where people can play PvE, is because they'll lose their ability to farm less talented players, be left only playing against other people of their skill, or better...and because it'll just outright ruin their ability to grief people to death...which is where their real sole source of fun is derived. They want to e jerks. No matter what anyone says, it's the root of it. They don't need your gear, they're generally maxed out on DZ level, and they don't need your funds because there's nothing else to buy.
As it stands, the PvP'ers are just going to have to come to grips with the fact that either a PvE environment is created...and they're going to lose players to it...or they don't create it...and they'll just lose people to leaving the game entirely. It's a lose lose.
Everyone wants us to adapt to the DZ rogue fest...but don't you dare tell the ones that love the rogue fest to adapt. We can't have that.
I like the poll that was created about choosing Rogue or Agent before you enter the DZ. I like the transparency. If people still want to be ****weasels and kill other agents, then they can declare their intent to do so and show up visibly on the map like all the other NPC baddies.
Still...cowards that they are...they'll probably just take their groups of 4 and join other groups of 4 so they can railroad every agent in group of 4. lol
There's really no easy solution to this train wreck. In the end, either you enjoy playing the game and will stay, or the game and whatever state its in isn't your thing, and you'll leave. Be interesting to follow the numbers of people logging in going orward.
On release the rogue players complained the penalties were too high for dying so the devs reduced it so low that now no one thinks twice about going rogue. Going rogue was advertised as a way to steal other players loot and was to be high risk/high reward, but without a high penalty for going rogue players have been using rogue to farm other players for XP, keys, and DZ funds instead. I don't blame people for doing it, a lot of people doing it would probably rather not go rogue but it's by far the fastest way to gear up and DZ rank up and most people kill on sight now anyway, why give them the opportunity to shoot first?Originally Posted by SS4GogetaTX Go to original post
If you can't beat them, join them. Until they fix loot and rogue penalties just kill everyone on sight, if you're solo you can't take on 4 people easily, killing 2 people is pretty easy solo if you sneak up on them though.
I guess that's still better, than be victim, and whole day whine about it.Originally Posted by ZQuizMaster Go to original post
