Ubisoft must nerf the Stick Bomb on PvP area of the game, otherwise the experience they are trying to creat will collapse pretty fast. People are changing very easily their gearset to hit at least near 40K of Skill Power, so they can kill with one hit ANY player. You can have 65% of protection, or even over 100K of life, this Stick Bomb set its stupid strong. They invented lots of weapons to choose from, multiple combinations of gear, but when one simple ability can kill you with just one hit, no matter how low you are on DPS, there is something wrong with the balance of the game.
Please, help this thread get attention from the community that are happy with the game and don't want some jerk that "invented" this simple one kill solution, ruin the game. It's already a pain in the *** the cheaters and exploiters of the game, please don't let this thing go legit.
You can get 1 shot kills with a Marksman rifle too in the dz, i suppose you want that nerfing as well...Originally Posted by alessampa Go to original post
You mean like it should not work for every bullet fired? Sure, it has too much of an OP effect when active which allows a Rogue to take down squads. There really shouldn't be anything that gives somebody a one shot kill.Originally Posted by SupaSkrub Go to original post
The sticky bomb is so inconsistent on how it deals damage. Sometimes it will one shot, most it will not. Also don't forget you need to gear yourself towards using this as a viable method. There is a decent cooldown as apposed to bursting someone down quickly with a smg or mmr. Face it... if you died to a sticky bomb you deserved it.
You forget. Everything that helps rogues helps you too. You make think nerfing things will help you succeed against rogues but non hostiles suffer the same nerfs making rouges even harder to kill.Originally Posted by NitroMidgets Go to original post
The universal truth is good players are good players no matter whether they chose to be rogue or play the good agent.
It seems in this game a lot more good players play rogue for the increased chance of pvp because of non hostiles constately coming to them.
Because of this The scales on most servers will be tipped in the rogues favor.
No matter what they nerf or buff or leave alone the majority of the time the better players will win. With the majority of good players being rogue you can pretty much count on losing to rogues more than you win.
There will always be exceptions to this. There are some damned good players out there that don't go rogue. Thank goodness for them because without them, being rogue wouldn't be fun. Unfortunately they are the minority in this game leaving groups of really good players with the advantage.
In an average night of doing manhunts I come across 2 to 3 really good non hostiles. Out of hundreds of players a small handful are able to compete.
It's just the nature of the game. People that aren't confident in their skills tend to no go rogue.
Stickies aren't a big deal. Every once in a while a guy with a crazy skill build may come along and one shot your team. It's rare these days.
When it does happen it's usually when people are holding roof top or rooms.
I dislike this. Being in the streets is so much better for so many reason this just being a small one. Easier to spread out, easier to engage. Easier to fall back to a better position if being over run. People that bunch up in tight quarters are begging to get smashed by the stickies bonus for hitting more than 1 player.
They used to be a big deal at extractions too.
My best advice is to take turns on the rope. You have more than enough time to put your stuff on the rope one at a time leaving the rest to watch and even fight if need be.
From a stratigy stand point you want your team spread out to hit your opponents from multiple angles. Even much weaker groups can use this tactic to take out much tuffer enemies.
If yiu have an issue with stickies while solo that's a build issue. No one should be able to one shot you while you are alone. You either need more heath of exotic resistance.
