Seriously, rogues are supposed to be petty, evil, backstabbing SOBs. That's what makes it the Dark Zone.
WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL ABOUT GETTING KILLED BY A ROGUE?
That is seriously a huge part of this game and the main hook for the DZ. I don't understand all the crying about this. I personally don't like being a rogue. It just goes against my nature. But I sure as heck like bringing them to justice.
When you get ganked you have nothing to cry about. That is supposed to happen. Instead of crying about it, go hunt the rogue(s) and try to have a little fun.
The only changes I'd like to see is the removal of the penalty to dying as a neutral (non rogue) agent or at the least make it a seriously reduced penalty. Hopefully reducing the sting of dying would encourage more folks to hunt rogues. I believe that was always the intent.
I do not think rogues need a higher penalty. Their penalty should be having to deal with an angry mob every time they try going rogue. That just simply isn't happening right now.
To reiterate the main point. Stop cryng about getting killed. It is supposed to happen and really isn't a big deal. It's JUST a game.
Nope, they should separate the DZ into PvE and PvP sections and not force there player base to play PvP. That is an extremely short sighted decision.
Yes, the daily's force us into the DZ. The DZ is also the most Dynamic PvE content in the game. It also isn't working as designed or else massive wouldn't have been forced to create brackets. If what they had wanted and envisioned was high geared mindlessly slaughtering low geared, they would have left it like it was.
Agree 100 percent. The rogue mechanics are horrible.Originally Posted by NORTHBOERN1 Go to original post
Yes, stop crying and continue to leave for other games and bad mouth Massive and Ubisoft at any chance on other sites or in chat. After all this is just a game and there are other games that are of much better quality in relation to your chosen play styles.
No longer will you hear Get Good. Now you will here, Get Gone.
Seriously though, you have to admit it is an unbalanced PVP that otherwise could have been rather enjoyable. At level 50 I don't see myself continuing to play in the DZ as I am not getting any better, the gear drops are the same, friends have left the game, it is the same **** each time and the hackers are still around on PC.
If they removed the loss of DZ credits and XP it would be much less painful for the PVE crowd.
The credits I can sort of understand a bit but it take all of 3 kills to make back up the xp... Luckily they reduced the penalties for dying on both sides of the coin 2 weeks after release.Originally Posted by NitroMidgets Go to original post
If it was equal it wouldn't be a problem. No one was going Rogue before Falcon came out and no one knew how to buffer their weapons.. So don't give me your BS about the Dark Zone being established for Players with vastly superior weapons and abilities secondary to things that do not exist in the real world enabling and empowering some players to deliberately and unjustifiably terrorize other players. If the weapon and armor capabilities were always equal then it wouldn't be a problem. So you can have it one way or the other - you can have all equal weapons and capabilities OR you can have an area specifically designated for players like you to annihilate each other by buffering your weapons to ridiculous and unrealistic capability. I like to play collaboratively with other players against the roving enemies which exist in the dark zone - but I shouldn't have to deal with players killing me and harming my rank score for nothing. If we're competitively going for the same supply drop, I get it - but even in that instance I should have an ability to defend myself and right now I don't - even with a gear score of 169 and a rank of 40.. Which is just stupid. I shouldn't have to sacrifice my ability to play 1/3rd of the game because you and others like you want to be *******s and feel that killing other players indiscriminately because you have greater capabilities and power is just part of the game.
