Nerf to sentry? Buff to team play!

Only one person in your group needs to have sentry, if the rest have strikers set and you communicate together you will do more dps.

You can also switch weapons too! Yes, there is more than 1 gun slot on your character rambo.

I agree. If one or two players has Sentry's, it is redundant to have more players with that gear set. The Sentry players will be at their best being Snipers or shotgun rushers/defenders. An SMG can move in on a target that is marked, while the sniper moves to the next victim to mark for the run and gunner.

SMG's will still be great, but they won't have the best of everything.

Obviously you've never tried CM FL. This nerf to sentry is great for pvp, but will really suck for pve. You honestly think you'll have time to get stacks up on 4 rushing shotgunners before they wipe your entire team? Good luck.

No one on my team runs full sentry and we do just fine.

This + the brutal fix will affect player damage in PVE significantly. HOWEVER, they did mention that they are looking at fixing shotgunner's damage, all in all it might be a good change.

Nothing lives long enough for it to matter except Falcon Lost CM enemies.

I will miss not being able to down a shotgunner before he gets half way down the stairs into the pit. He might make it 3/4 of the way down the stairs after they fix Sentry's bonus. If shotgunners wipe the team, no one was paying attention, and you deserve to be wiped.

Maybe in PvE and that is limited to incursions, and if you think one person can mark all the targets good luck. Any other PvE portion of the game the mobs melt faster then you can ramp strikers up. The sets are broken.

In its current state, I consider Tactician to be a lot better than sentry. Rarely am I able to get Sentry procs at range, so its useless aside from the 2 and 3 set buffs. With a 4 Tactician, I can run 20k skillpower and have that buffed to 40k without any problem. Everything recharges almost at cap, my heals are better, my bombs are better, etc.
