Last night after playing only 2 games, I recieved a 48 hour ban for "Toxic Behavior". I never type anything in game nor do I use the in game voice chat. When I inquired with support I was told they couldn't tell me why. Could someone please explain to me how that happens? Never have I exhibited anything resembling Toxic Behavior, also Ive never broken the Ubisoft code of conduct. Its disappointing to think this can happen. I would just like to be told what the reason was.

Customer support will not tell me why I've been banned. They sent me a link to their code of conduct (https://rainbow6.ubisoft.com/siege/e...m:148-76770-32) Which states that a first offense will receive a warning. A second offense will receive a two day temporary suspension. Ive never recieved any warning, therefore I have no idea what Ive done wrong. When I ask, the customer support representatives get frustrated and dont know what to say so they just disconnect me. Extremely unprofessional behavior, Toxic you might even say. All I want to know is what Ive done so wrong that didnt warrant a warning?

It was probably a room with a couple of trolls who didn't like the operator you picked, or the route you took to an objective,who reported you for no reason. There are many things in this game that the trolls overly abuse, vote to kick and the toxic behavior reporting are among the worst. It's very unfair for someone to be able to report you for toxic behavior without having to show any proof.

Exact same thing happened to me, except they didn't send me a link. It is so frustrating knowing I've spent money on this game and was banned for no reason, permanently. Recent posts I have seen have shown incredibly immature people attacking the user. Im assuming this will be the same if I dont ask people to be mature about this. For some reason people treat toxic behaviour bans as bad as battle-eye bans which makes no sense. Trash talking with slurs is not even close to the equivalent as hacking in anyway.
I dont think this is even close to true but I will use it as an exaggerated example; toxic behaviour can be perceived as a type as exploit as you use the chat function in game to break the game, in which this exploit is the only one trackable and punishable.
I have been an offender in using slurs and spam in the game both of which stopped upon the update but that didnt matter as many users including myself were banned as a message to both scare other users to follow with the new enforced guidelines and to boost Ubisofts standing. I dont understand how anyone could defend a no warning permanent ban that was given to many users for trash talking.
The posts I have seen shown that the replies were clearly from people who believe that type of user who was banned attacked everyone randomly. In my case I tried to avoid this and to only respond in an equally if not more offensive way, and if you arent aware this game has one of the most toxic communities I have ever seen, as bad if not worse than call of duty and counter strike. Im sure that many more are in the same boat as me but even if the user was the worst of the worst why wouldnt they get a warning that what they are doing is against the rules? Im 100% sure that the majority of the users who got the game didnt read the guidelines and to permanently ban a player without a warning for something they could easily do in the game is inexcusably terrible.
The only conclusion I can come up with is that me and many other users were a ploy to spread the message, as everyday from day one of the update I saw a large number of users getting banned, presumably permanently banned until I was hit. Doing this would also get Ubisoft fame for trying to fight off toxic behaviour which I dont find to be that helpful simply because the toxicity is still the same just with less slurs which I dont really care for but I dont mind it nonetheless. In a game that allows users to be called worthless ****ing morons(best insult I can come up with without slurs) isnt too off from calling someone (in my opinion meaningless) racial slurs and homophobic slurs but I understand that they do want to make an impact even though it is practically useless.
To conclude, Ubisoft used me and many others as a message to get fame and spread a message for other users to not make a similar action. Breaking this rule is incredibly easy, not getting a warning for it is a joke. The way they attempted to implement this is absolutely disgusting and I think they only wanted to continue their fame of listening to their community and didnt care to throw me and many others under the bus.
As of now I have purchased the starter edition of the game and bought all my main operators with renoun so I no longer care about my old account. I didnt make this post in hopes to get unbanned, instead I wanted to see what others think about these bans and to show my input on the side of someone who was banned. If you make a response please be constructive, I had to skip every 15th reply on other posts to get a response that had meaning besides an angry cry.
