First, you cannot start a new showdown from the results screen of your last showdown, the puppy won't give you credit.

If you go to the dog house and click the "start a showdown" button it will take you to the bunker, you need to start the showdown from the initial button when you have showdowns available, not the "start new showdown" button from the results screen.

Hopefully this gets fixed because the puppy is forcing you to give up your win bonus (if you won) or to forfeit the other half of your chips of you lost or he (she?) won't give you credit.

My advice (taken with a grain of salt cuz I'm a noob) is start all puppy challenges from the doghouse by clicking the challenge on the left.
Totally agree with you about accepting puppy mission from doghouse, it works, but you can save your chips like this: When you finish two matches in bunker, click on first one accept chips and money if you win or half of the chips if you lose by clicking on new showdown. Then go to second one and click on x mark top left corner, to exit, and not accept chips. This will transfer those chips that you "didnt" accept to first new showdown that you clicked. Then go to doghouse accept mission from there go to bunker you will have one empty free slot for new showdown, click on that start new showdown and voila puppy mission is completed. Go to first match in bunker and check out chip count.
I hope that you understand what I wanted to say, and I hope that RL will fix this and other ( impossible tracks,... ) puppy missions.

Everyone, please try this and inform us here does it worked for you.

    Cheers.

That would be sorta hilarious if this works...... you would think that hitting the X button would toss its extra chips away. (but then again, I rarely hit the X) The only way I have had merged chip rewards was by:
    1) Starting "new showdown" within the showdown rewards screen, for 2+ showdowns in a row (ie starting showdowns with some chips).
    2) Having the first showdown take so long to start that I was able to do step#1 for multiple showdowns before it started; ie the 1st showdown gets the accumulated rewards for any showdowns that were ended before it gets a match (and later showdowns dont get any)

I suspect the real catch here is that your initial starting showdown might need to take a while to match; sorta out of your control. I know lots of folks have really slow match-making... but mine have been VERY fast in recent days. . .just lucky I guess.
